    Summary

    This is a Nightwing side-story that occurs around Nightwing 2016 issue #96. It dives into the conflict of Dick Grayson trying to acquire Blüdhaven Prison, as Blockbuster's reign is now out-of-the-picture (he kinda died). At the same time, there has been a spike in teen deaths, but no one can figure out why. Nightwing and Commissioner Sawyer attempt to solve these piling cases, knowing the clock is ticking, and the same goes for the children's lives in Blüdhaven.

    I was kinda confused when reading the Nightwing comics, as there was no follow-up on Blockbuster's (Roland Desmond) death, yet that would have created a huge power vacuum and would leave many of his assets in limbo (legally speaking). So, I basically wrote this side story as a means of fixing that plothole.

    Anyway- I wrote this story (initially) to be drafted as a comic, so the scenes jump around a little bit. I use the [***] symbol to indicate that there has been a change in the scene, whether it's time and/or location. Hope that makes sense! Also- I HOPE YOU ENJOY IT!!
