Summary
In the earliest days of the Daxy Empire's occupation of Earth, Peacekeeper Railyx hoped for a quiet posting away from the chaos of life in a city. She found just that in the town of Heather Lake, Wyoming, population 800. This quiet was quickly upturned by the sudden and unwanted posting of the insubordinate Peacekeeper Krilik, removed from her previous post due to her over zealous handling of a domestic dispute. Their first assignment together sets them on a course that will change the lives of everyone involved. Can Railyx balance retraining the hotheaded and half cocked rookie Peacekeeper with maintaining order in small town America, while maybe making a life for herself that is more than an empty home and an unshared bed?
