“Who is this?”
“No one in particular, love,” the voice sounded muffled, barely audible over the static from the phone.
“So, what are you doing?” the person on the other line asked.
“Uh, I’m getting ready to see my boyfriend,” Seonghwa answered while putting lipgloss on his lips, he smacked his lips together a few times to blend it out.
“So, you have a boyfriend then?”
“Yes, I do.” Seonghwa dreaded the phone call the longer it went on. It felt weird to talk to a stranger like this.
“Listen, what do you want?” Seonghwa asked, frustration filled in his voice.
“I want you to scream for me,” Seonghwa dropped his makeup brush, and the brush landed on the table with a ‘crash’
“Excuse me?” Seonghwa answered frightfully.
“You heard me, love,” Seonghwa had enough, he hung up the call and picked up his makeup brush to put it back where it belonged.
The phone rang again, and Seonghwa debated whether to pick up or not.
“Hello?” he answered, scared of what was to come.
“If you hang up on me again I’ll make you bleed.”
