Chapter Text

Sebastian is slithering around the hadal blacksite trying to find some useful stuff, after he went to a specific toom he met painter again.

„Hey there sebastian!“

sebastian wasn‘t really in the mood to chat, yet if painter starts tslking he can’t stop it.

„i‘ve found some research about humans i found out they can fall inlove! isn‘t that lovely?“

sebastian looked at him and raised his head

„you only now found out about love? werent you and nora together all the time.“

he looked at painter and saw him drawing blushing on his face, which he chuckled to.

„hey sebastian, did you ever had the feeling of love?“

sebastian freezed at that question, he didnt wanted to admit it but he felt attraction to some woman, but never really love.

„not really, i never had a girlfriend.“

painter looked disappointed, he thought he could research more about humans. sebastian was about to continue walking until painter called him again.

„wait! did u meet that one whale?“

sebastian looked at painter in confusion

„a whale? i never met someone that looks like a whale“

„they‘re like you! just…more quiet, he‘s always st door 80 if u get lucky. of course, but hes really nice!“

sebastian wasn‘t really interested in that kind of stuff, meeting someone new? what a joke, he was trapped here for 11 years and still doesn‘t know everyone? maybe he‘s really rare to get.

„fine, i‘ll go to door 80 and maybe talk to him…maybe he has his document there“

sebastian slithered away from p.ai.nters screen, he‘s definitely not going to door 80 just to meet someone new. its probably another asshole anyway

Chapter Text

Sebastian had been exhausted the whole day, many expendables have been flashing him and now he sometimes bumps into walls, he just wants to rest in his little hiding space but eyefestation came which he growled to.

„what do you want eyefeststion? i‘m not really in the mood“

eyefestation looks at him and uses the hq guy‘s voice.

„did u talk about painter about the whale guy? i thought he was literally a whale and i finally could talk to someone!“

eyefestation made a unsatisfying noise, knowing sebastian. eyefestation knew sebastian could feel her emotions as he understands her.

„is it really such s big talk? painter, nora even the expendable talked about me with that whale. is he really that special?“

„well he is calm and quiet, i liked his presence. sadly he doesnt attack the expendable“

that like catched sebastian‘s attention, a entity that doesn’t attack the expendable? maybe he will visit him soon…not now tho, he‘s still busy with everything

„i‘ll think of visiting him…he sounds interesting for not attacking the expendable, anyway i need to go now. and you need to do ur job.“

eyefestation swam away as sebastian continued slithering forward, his thoughts were only on that damn whale, what was he like? what does he look like? sebastian grabs his head and can‘t get rid of these thoughts, maybe some sleep will be helpful.

he went to his secret hideout where the expandable can‘t reach him and curls himself together to keep him warm, just like a little cat.

After multiple hours sebastian felt something touching his shoulder, he groaned and just hoped the expandables didn‘t find his secret hideout. after a minute of waking up sebastian looked around and saw a big figure infront of him, he shot up and got his gun out. shooting the thing in its arm. the big guy growned and held the shot wound, when sebastian took a better look at him he realized it was the whale guy everyone was talking about.

he got his medkit from his tail and wrapped in around the gun wound, they both stayed quiet as it was a akward silence. when sebastian finished bandaging the whale he slithered back

„sorry for that, i didn‘t expect anyone to find this place and thought you were a wall dweller or something…“

william gave him a quick stare until his body relaxed

„that is fine, knowing how this place is i would‘ve done the same thing.“

sebastian looks at him up and down

„ur…the whale guy everyone mentioned right? william was ur name i think…anyway i‘m sebastian, a shopkeeper“

william looked interested in the whole „shopkeeper“ thing

„yes i am william, and painter really mentioned you a lot of times and how we would match together, not sure what he ment by that. anyway, you mentioned you‘re a shopkeeper?“

sebastian nods and points at his tail, that had a flash beacon, a flashlight, a code breaker a used medkit and a gummylight

„i sell items to the expandable to get more research…you could actually help me with it, just give the expandable some tools and they‘ll give you research, then escaping this place will be easier…“

william was confused

„you have a plan to escape this?“

„you don‘t? why am i the only one thinking of escaping!“

william chuckled a bit, finding it amusing how sebastian got angry at it

„i would like to escape this place too…i just didn‘t think it was possible, anyway. i would gladly help you“

sebastian looks at him and looks away, he kind of felt attractive to william…not that he‘s gonna mention that tho!

„thank you, having another helper is useful. i can give you some items i have or you find some to sell the player“

william nods

„i‘ll do that, by the way i‘m gonna leave now, i have something to do. goodbye sebastian“

sebastian already disliked that william was gonna leave so soon

„interrupting my sleep for that…fine go! but don‘t come back empty handed!“

william leaved the hideout and sebastian has his arms crossed, then relaxed. his mind only could think of how attractive he was, shouldn‘t matter anyway! he‘ll just need to get his job done…
