Chapter 1: science fiction/double feature

Chapter Text

The whole neighborhood was in silence, the sound of a few dogs barking and a light coming from one of the houses was the only non-common thing. It was Frank's room, he was studying for his algebra exam while drinking monster energy. He should have attended class instead of sneaking out to smoke behind the school. Anyway, while trying to focuse on the paper sheets, something catched all his attention.

A thunderous sound that left a ringing in his ears for a few seconds, flashing lights and the smoke that he could see from his bedroom's window.

—Holy shit.— He said to himself, trying to get what was going on as running to the door, opening and literally running downstairs, almost stumbling.

What the actual fuck had been that? Word War Three? Russia's nuclear attacks? No one knew, maybe he'd be on the news by tomorrow's morning. He finally opened the door, the smoke coming from everywhere.

At first, Frank thought that a car had crashed onto the yard, but of course it wasn't, there wasn't any sight of a car, instead, he found himself carefully listening to what seemed to be a person whimpering, somehow it seemed like the only thing that mattered.

The boy was walking through the debris, making his way and getting closer to the sound, that seemed quite masculine but could have been easily confused by a woman's voice.

He was waving his arms in the air to see properly, when he finally found it. It seemed like a man to him, orange hair, pale skin, a weird blue suit and the cutest eyes that Frank had ever seen. He stood there, completely frozen.

—W-what? Who are you?—It's all that he could say, the possibilities of that creature being a thief were quickly discarded because of how scared and disorientated it looked. —You okay?

They just looked at him, his eyes wide opened and their arms trying to protect themselve.

—Don't worry... I won't hurt you.— Frank said, while giving one or two steps to get slightly closer to it, he immediately felt the urge to protect it, or maybe something else that he could not identify very well, but that was surely caused by the way that the creature was looking at him.

When he was close enough, he drove one of his hads to stroke it's orange hair while their was still sitting on a childish position on the grass. His fingers ran through it delicately.

The creature, who had a unpronounceable name, couldn't be more confused. Their mind was dizzy, was out of words and barely understood anything that the boy was saying. Because when you're an alien, you don't have to worry about silly things like learning English, duh.

They missed it's asteroid, it's galaxy and it's ship that now was completely destroyed. There was no way that they could return home soon. Their thoughts were suddenly interrupted by his voice again.

—My name's Frank... what's yours?

Should they say something? Would he understand them? No one had ever prepared him for this kind of situation. It opened it's mouth and let a weird mix of sounds out that sounded like glitch of an old computer.

Frank obviously didn't understood anything, but nodded as he did anyway.

—So... uhh... you wanna come in or what?— What was Frank supposed to do? No one had ever explained what to say or do when an alien crashes into his yard. But he continued caressing their head, almost patting it, like he would do with a dog, his fingers were now softly running trough's their's cheek.

The creature was disconcerted, not really knowing what was happening. Maybe this was normal human being way to say hello?

—You're kind of pretty, y'know... are you a girl or a man? Y'know... that really don't matter—Frank asked, mentally questioning if that would be somehow offensive. He actually felt kinda grossed because the first thing he thought when he saw this thing is how pretty it'd look with his dick on their mouth.

—C'mon... you must be cold.— He said as extending his hand to them, offering his help, and the humanoid understood what Frank wanted to say. And they took his hand. Frank seemed like a person who they could trust.

Now they were on Frank's room, the entity had a blanket on his shoulders and was clinging to it while sitting on the edge of the bed. The boy was still trying to catch what was happening.
