Summary
Shadow looked down at Sonic, who had just tried to gracefully skate over to Shadow with a smug look on his face before not so gracefully skating straight into the wall and falling onto his back. The blue hedgehog then rolled onto his side, propping his head up with one hand and resting the other on his hip.
"And that's how I fell..." He winked, "For you.~"
"SMOOOOOOOTH!" Knuckles whooped from the other side of the rink.
"Nice recovery!" Tails followed up.
The whole thing would've been hilarious if not for the fact that this was the 4th time in the past 30 minutes that Sonic had tried to get Shadow to blush with his flirtatious antics, but Shadow found it slightly endearing at best and a bit annoying at worst.
The only problem was, it was starting to work.
