After the life-changing ordeals of Weirdmageddon, the summer ended, and the twins went home. School started again, and Wendy is left alone to navigate the vastly worse horrors of a frustrating and meaningless pedestrian life. But a strange visitor from the future may offer her some encouragements...
Notes:
I first wrote this in 2017, and it's been living on Deviantart ever since, quite separate from my other stories. I haven't reread it since I wrote it until today, and it's clear I've grown as an author since that time. Nevertheless, this was the first fanfic I ever wrote, and the rest of my work has followed directly from it, narratively and thematically. Now that I've made an AO3 account and realized that images could be embedded, I'm taking my chance to let this seminal work join the others as the originator.
I've never liked when creators apologize for their earlier works or try to cover them up or insist that people only consume the more recent ones, so that's not what I'm going to do. Instead I'll just say that I hope you enjoy this.
