Summary
Charles, an introverted doctor haunted by past heartbreak, finds his world transformed when he meets Mila, the warm-hearted new farmer in town. Though he initially pushes her away out of self-preservation, Mila's kindness and determination help him reconnect with life and with himself. Healing the ocean and healing a broken heart might not be so different, after all.
This is the Charles character study that no one asked for. Some events and lines are lightly inspired by his heart events, but overall it's my own interpretation of his character and the buildup to his relationship with the farmer, based on what we know about his past.
