They were sleeping. Cutely and snuggly cuddled together each other holding.
Or rather more like snoring and very loudly so. The sounds carrying all through the ship, without a doubt, perhaps a tad proudly so
And if anyone was listening in, most likely the noises of said sound deep sleep would have carried to the nearest solar system! If voice carried in space. Which it doesn’t, no need to explain.
But yeah, they were certainly so very tired only to having slumped right on top of each other into a heap of slumbering clone troopers the two now were right after stepping inside of the Marauder, their new ship borrowed.
There was something neither of them cared to admit though feeling too bothered, which was the fact that they both slept best when in contact with the other. Someone having once told them it was an invisible tether the two were bound by and perhaps those someones were right too. Certainly no-one denying.
As despite all their bickering, the two troopers were inseparable. In the bad but also the good. They were a pair alright, through thick and thin, one half of the other, no doubt about it. Their batch mates teasing them, alas always out of jest and a wide grin.
The sleepy cuddles very often shared, whenever there was time to spare, whatever the venue, the place, it did not really matter. As when the dream world beckoned, the two reckoned, the comfort in each other to find. Something of a deal, no big hassle or grind.
And that was the ultimate present, having someone to be so comfortable with a life essence right there by ones side. And so, even if caught snoring, it did not matter, they two had each other, and that certainly worth exploring.
So, if you happen to walk up on the two whenever piled up in whatever format they have managed to get into. Let them sleep, they have deserved their rest, for a while at least until the next mission beckons, as these are troopers from the best of the best.
