Summary
Teagan is on the run from her past and hopes to make a new start for herself in Sandrock (just like everyone else, right?). After spending most of her adult life in Highwind, she was forced to run, taking only her skills, knowledge, and a trunk of tools with her. Luckily, she's not new at this Building gig, having been at it for a few years, and has amassed a small nest egg to help her get started in this dust bowl. She brings no expectations, but finds ambiguous loyalties and dark surprises around every sand-covered corner. Her past comes back to haunt her despite her attempt to escape it, and the only thing keeping her in the disaster-prone town is the love triangle that causes her as much grief as it does ecstasy.
