    Fives grins. It doesn’t quite reach his eyes – it never has since they lost Echo, but Fives is good at pretending to be okay. They all are.

    The mission to the Citadel might have been a success, but the scars of Echo’s loss overshadow that victory. They might not talk about it, but Anakin knows that his men struggle, even more than he does. Fives, especially. Echo was everything to him. And here they are. The survivors.
