When Rey steps away from Kylo Ren’s sickbed, he indulges in dramatics.
“ Kylo Ren was furious, but his body was too weak to lash out. He laid out, stripped off his armour and his large frame utterly aching. The beloved red lightsaber was out of reach and he lacked the strength to grasp it - even with the Force. With what few ounces of willpower remained to him, he flicked on a recorder, hoping to leave a last message for those who would find his remains.
“My wife, my beloved Empress, has betrayed me. I have been stranded without means to contact any reenforcement or rescue-“
”You were left in the bed to recover, for three hours! While I got the girls to your Mother!” Rey swept into their bedroom, rolling her eyes dramatically as she reached out to snag the holorecorder. Ben was curled up, shivering, under a pile of blankets and surrounded by what appeared to be the grossest pile of tissues she’d ever seen.”
