Summary
Dean lives in a world where, sometimes, a person will gain a blue mark on their skin wherever their soulmate will touch them first. Whenever the soulmate touches them, the blue coloring goes away, and it should remove the mark entirely. Unfortunately, things don't always work out for the Winchesters. John thinks soulmates are a curse, and hates the concept of them entirely; when Dean develops a mark, he has to hide it.
Since getting the mark, Dean starts having dreams of a 'mystery man' he's never seen before. For years, he wonders if maybe it's a clue to his soulmate: when the dreams end up having a connection to the person he was fated to meet, whether it be for better or worse, he must learn to navigate this newfound 'relationship' of sorts - things aren't easy, though, when his soulmate is adverse to talking about it at all. Cue Dean's frustration and unfortunate infatuation.
