Summary
During a split moment of panic and fear, Yuuta Okkotsu makes a binding vow, one that is meant to keep someone he cares for alive. But vows, like everything, have their drawbacks, and even if he is one of the strongest sorcerers to ever exist, it will still affect him in some way. For a binding vow to take on the intended effect made by the caster, said caster has to give ‘something’ of value to activate it, or even place a rule on themselves, one that can not be broken with no excuses. Breaking a vow could have devastating effects, for the user and sometimes everyone around them.
But what has Yuuta given? What exactly did he trade off for the sake of giving his friend, Yuuji, another chance at life? Yuuta knows what he has given, but he won’t willingly speak it out loud, because… it’s all for Yuuji’s sake.
Or
Yuuta ‘binds’ Yuuji to himself for life, then in turn they are rendered immortal, and it will stay that way unless Yuuta’s vow is broken. But… is that even a possible task? There may be a way for it to break, but even it’s possible, is there a reason to do it? Yuuta doesn’t think so.
