Work Text:

You burn so beautifully in the flames of inferno. I can see every burning leaf of your tree that hides inside your soul. You bloom in the spring, like the most fruitful and strong cherry tree, you let your roots inside me, making me burn too... You make me breathe you almost to the point of stupefaction, inhaling the bitter smell of burnt bark and leaves. In this smell, I can clearly distinguish the scorched flesh of your hopes and dreams.

I always considered myself sick, but now I want to be sick with you too, Sakura.

Endo's eyes shine brighter than dozens of lightning bolts in the night sky above Bofurin's headquarters. They glow with a blue magical fire that only people who lose themselves in a true fit of passion have. For him, fighting means passion - scorching like a dance, deadly like the hottest flame. A synonym for "dance", because Takiishi dances with his opponents, trampling them into the dirt, creating a tiny art filled with the blood of other victims of passion. Music is punches, and Takiishi is the center of this entire abnormal universe.

Yamato may not have his personal Deity with him at the moment, but the feelings are still as bright and stunning. He feels. He feeds on them completely, trying to match the madness that is happening around him. His arousal fills the air with dull sighs, flows through his veins like thick, whitish smoke: Endo is like liquid, poisonous cigarette smoke, getting right under Sakura's skin, branding his body with blows.

Even though he receives a strong punch to the face in response, a wide grin does not leave his lips when his movements become dirty, blurred. He has never complained about the beauty of his face, but when bruises or hematomas bloom on it, when he feels physical pain, and bloody flowers habitually sprinkle his lips - Endo feels like the most beautiful man in the world. He doesn't care that his eye closes slightly from a swollen eyelid; all the same, that his gums bleed from another strong blow and he finds a slightly loose tooth with his tongue. The main thing is what he feels deep down inside.

     Ecstasy. Passion. Infatuation.

This has never happened with anyone except Takiishi, and feeling such vivid emotions of his love, almost maddeningly vile and covered with bloody crusts on his bruised knuckles, he thinks that perhaps this is what he has wanted for so long.

In an unbearably beautiful moment, when the air is hot, the wind is scorchingly cold under sweaty clothes, and Sakura's eyes and body movements reveal the purest, unclouded passion, almost hypnosis by other people's blows, Sakura looks painfully familiar. Shiveringly delightful, even if he wants to break him.

Blood flows down their broken faces, although it would seem that only a few dozen seconds have passed since the beginning of their one-on-one fight, and Endo is already drowning in his crazy dance, sharing all his dirty feelings with an interesting opponent. He smirks, clenching his teeth tighter, and his lips are in a thin line, so as not to laugh an ugly, but real laugh. Because Sakura looks too empty, but also full, and Yamato is sure that he will never get bored with such a guy.

"You know, when you bloom like this, like cherry blossoms, Sakura, you're so beautiful! I never thought I'd find someone who looks like my Deity!" he barely flinches when Haruka's empty heterochromic eyes meet his. Endo doubles over from a bold punch to the stomach, causing him to spit out clots of blood along with saliva, but to parry the subsequent blows with even greater determination.

The brat is out of his mind, after all, it's useless to talk to him. Yamato understands this, but he can't help but feel more and more strange sensations. He basks in the attention that belongs only to him, wanting to get even more. He's never been greedy, but now he wants to be selfish for himself, because it's right. In his tiny world, where everything was burned in the merciless flames of Inferno, Sakura is a strange surprise, cutting into the ashes with his powerful roots, entwining them almost as tightly as the burns from Takiishi's indifferent gaze.

The glass in the windows shakes from the thunder that sounds somewhere in the distance, but they are both so absorbed in each other that they do not notice. Soon it will rain. Endo imagines in the back of his mind how things will get wet and stick to their bodies, mixing with blood and sweat, creating the perfect form of combat.

A drop of blood flows from the tip of his nose, falling straight into the dust on the ground with a barely audible dull sound. The only thing he hears is his loud breathing, his pulse and the sounds of blows that they exchange, like wild animals fighting for their territory.

"You're going to lose," Endo whispers softly into Sakura's ear as he gets close enough to almost brush his lips against his skin, but with particular force he pushes the guy to the ground, almost kicking him in the ribs, leaving bruises on his pale skin. Haruka coughs, spits out bloody clots right onto the floor, to that same drop of Yamato's blood, mixing, forming a crazy mixture of different blood types. An arousingly magnificent sight.

Sakura flinches and almost instinctively dodges another blow to the ribs, when the control and almost trance in which he was for the last minutes is lost and he shakes his head, trying to get rid of the noise in his ears. His gaze clears for a second, but soon regains a detached expression. Haruka, with the dexterity of an acrobat, arches his back, hitting his opponent with a dusty sole right in the jaw, forcing Endo to take a step back. He grins, showing his bloody sharp teeth, almost shuddering from the realization that he could have bitten his tongue from such a thing.

Haruka, it seems, becomes completely indifferent - he moves faster, he becomes a free wind, which is revealed only during fights. He mercilessly pierces Yamato's body with sharp wind currents, fills his own being with Meaning, for the sake of which he fights. As if he is no longer a person. Just a wild, unbridled element, from which Endo's knees buckle and he laughs happily, filling the air with a loud, sharp sound. Even if he starts to think only about what it would be like to hold the short body of his new crush tighter in his arms, to run his lips over the bloody palms where the skin is cracking from more and more blows.

Endo inhales the bright scent of rainy spring, the dust that rises from how quickly they move across the battlefield. He feels notes of metal, the sweet smell of Sakura's sweat that he managed to catch a few seconds earlier. Adrenaline fills him and... Kami-sama, he wants it so much. To feel it under his skin, to be the same free wind that Sakura is now.

He can't hold back any longer, so he pulls Haruka to the ground, squeezing his ankle with his fingers. His head hits the ground with a dull sound, groaning softly. His vision is blurry with pain, but he forces himself to stay conscious. Seeing the sole of the sneaker right above his face, he quickly rolls to the left, watching the dust rise slightly into the air from the impact of his foot on the ground.

For Endo, Sakura is such a dexterous sweet. Like he's eating dango, crushing the rice balls with his sharp teeth to fill his mouth with the delicious mass. That's how he feels his new obsession - sweet, sweet, and he's becoming more and more confident with each passing second that he will never get tired of it. Just like Takiishi. He tastes the forbidden cherry, savoring its juicy texture under his tongue, thinking it's a drug.

"Look at me! When you analyze me or look at me, they're two completely different things, Sakur-r-r-ra!" Endo growls like the most dangerous panther in the world, but continues to grin, enjoying the attention he so desperately needs.

Their speed becomes a little faster, and their dance becomes more deadly. A strangled gasp is heard when Yamato punches him in the face, trying to make his eyes shine instead of being deafeningly empty. Sakura doesn't hear. He only sees Endo Yamato's silhouette, adjusting to the speed, to the aggressive blows of his opponent. He has accepted the rules of this battle, creating a fiery dance in its nature, sprinkling his fists with fresh blood.

Blue eyes sparkle in the semi-darkness from another flash of lightning and their owner takes a step back, suddenly taking a short break from the endless blows. Yamato pinches one nostril with his fingers and blows out clots of blood from it. He takes a deep breath, finally inhaling clean air with a full chest, in which the tart smell of blood is almost not felt. Drops fall like rubies, reflecting in Sakura's heterochromic eyes when he literally flies up from below. Yamato's blood leaves red flowers on his cheek, but he does not even notice. He does not notice Endo's greedy gaze, nor even more blood on his face. In his eyes there is only concentration, the emptiness of lands scorched in an eternal war, and the struggle that makes him spill rivers of blood, irrigating everything around. Sakura is bruised fists, ringing in the ears from adrenaline in the blood, and chaotic blows, verified to the smallest centimeter.

Endo grins like a psycho, letting quiet, slightly insane chuckles escape his lips. His eyes glitter dangerously as he suddenly takes off, appearing in front of Haruka at the limits of human speed. He wraps himself around him like a dangerous snake, an almost divine manifestation of a poisonous aura that immediately covers the teenager from head to toe, forcing him to breathe heavily. Sakura, on instinct alone, tries to dodge the danger, but before he can take a step, the metaphorical rings are already holding him in their grip.

Neither of them moves for a few seconds: Haruka trying not to provoke the predator to fight, to kill him, and Yamato almost purring from being so close to what he likes. He might even like him even more if he breaks him a little, just a little. Drives a trap right into his head, locking him in one position, so that Sakura is sure - there is no escape. Running away won't change anything. He'll lose.

Haruka comes to his senses and tries to hit the guy behind him. At least in the knee, to be able to break free. But Endo holds on, not showing that he's in pain or uncomfortable: he purrs like a big cougar, enjoying the living warmth under the hands that are pressed to his chest.

Endo feels like The Fallen Angel now. His curly black hair is caressed by the wind, and lightning shines above their heads. Thunder rumbles loudly, but closer to the headquarters: the weather is getting worse before our eyes and Yamato is only glad that the sky is crying with happiness just like him, giving such a gift for Chika's birthday. An ephemeral feeling of thirst, desire and almost real arousal, almost for the first time makes him forget about Takiishi Chika for such a long time. Does Endo feel like a traitor after this? Yes, definitely, but it will be a little later, because Sakura under him is so alive, scared and already familiar. Sweet.

Yamato carefully strokes Sakura's Adam's apple with fingers trembling from delightful emotions, pressing lightly. It immediately twitches, and under his chin he carefully removes a drop of sweat mixed with blood.

"He-e-e-ey, motherfucker! Fucking bastard, are you listening to me?" Endo shouts sharply, not even expecting this from himself. Haruka in front of him shudders and immediately goes limp for seconds, breathing heavily from shock. Or, most likely, he is trying to understand where he is and what is happening right now.

Sakura's gaze becomes more conscious as he flushes with embarrassment - even his friends hardly hug him and being so close to another person is almost wild for him. Unpleasant to the point of clenched teeth, to the wrinkles between his eyebrows.

Haruka feels something romantic in such a touch, something that should not be present in fights or in hints of murder. If only this were a fighting stance to prevent him from moving and hitting, but... Endo breathes too hotly into his ear, stroking it, as if Sakura is just a wild animal that he is trying to tame. Such associations make Haruka almost give up the ghost and ascend to heaven, but thinking that death from embarrassment sounds very pathetic for someone like him, Sakura decides to let everything go and try to at least abstract himself. This threw him off-track and he... Lost. What the hell is going on?

Yamato, however, wraps himself around him with snake coils even tighter, as if it wants to become nourishment for the great cherry tree, to feed it with blood and Inferno, to be absorbed or to absorb it completely. He doesn't know yet what choice Haruka will make, but he is sure that in any case he will not be disappointed and will not disappoint Takiishi in the new Deity. They will definitely become friends: Endo is a true connoisseur and he does not choose any nonsense. Therefore, he only teases harder, looking at the trembling youth with a wild smile.

"Ha... Ha... Ugh..." Sakura breathes heavily as he tries to come to his senses. Blood from a broken nose is running down his lips, and he only licks the unpleasant-tasting drops, finally feeling how tired he is. Another loud sound makes him flinch and involuntarily press closer when he hears thunder very close. He lets a lazy thought flash past his eyes and immediately fade away: he did not even notice that the wind has become colder, that thunder and lightning are already hanging over the city and are about to spill the first drops of water on the holy, war- and slaughter-ridden lands.

He always fell out of reality during battles with opponents, thinking only about himself, about how to show his strength, his importance, that he is not useless and can beat the faces of those who think that way about him. The adrenaline rush that hit his head was always and will always be tempting for him, but now... It was as if he had become a wild creature again, with no one behind him to fight for. As if he was empty again, but again and again he wanted to fill himself with the blood and pleas of those he had beaten. He knew that he was still carrying the weight of the embodiment of Destruction, but looking back at the familiar faces of the idiots who had become his family in such a short time, he understood that he should no longer destroy. Because he had been convinced that he could do something other than destroy. Even though he loved and loves this feeling of freedom, his values had changed. And he could no longer lose his head over something like that.

"You... Did you say something, idiot?" Haruka asks hoarsely, when his breathing more or less returns to normal.

Lightning illuminates their bodies pressed together in an almost romantic manner on a rainy date, to which Sakura almost whines when his ears start steaming in embarrassment. Haruka flinches when another cold gust of wind touches him under his shirt: his body, heated by the battle, is immediately covered in goosebumps and only now does he realize how sweaty he is. His face and fists are slightly swollen from bruises and hematomas, they fill with a crimson color and begin to ache unpleasantly, reminding him of the dull pain in his broken nose and cheeks.

How many minutes or hours have passed since the beginning of their fight? He does not remember, because of this it becomes almost incredibly awkward. He bites his lower lip, already painfully swollen, covered with a crust of dried blood and sighs loudly, hoarsely. After all, Sakura is incredibly tired. It's felt more psychologically than physically. An almost desperate desire to be somewhere far away from here, to be alone again, to be able to fight only for himself, fills his head and he blushes from the horror of such thoughts, tightly clenching his fists, leaving white crescents on his palms. "How stupid I am... Probably, if they knew what I was thinking, they would personally kill me." A sad, but unusually comfortable thought fills his head, causing shadows of a smile to appear on his lips. He shakes his head, accidentally hitting the back of the head of the strangely silent Endo on the chin.

"Hey, what are you doing, Sakura?" Endo leans closer and his blue eyes close to narrow slits when he suddenly licks sweet - for him alone - drops of blood from Haruka's face.Sakura is sweet even to the taste, his blood is delicious, soaked in a strange bitter taste, which gives the guy only more charm and taste. The loneliness and melancholy that Sakura is soaked with to the very bones, nourish him, giving pleasure to Yamato. "You know... You could come with me and I would immediately stop this senseless slaughter. You really want to save your friends' lives, right?" Endo purrs suddenly, stunning Sakura with his offer. Even if the word "friends" was saturated with tons of contempt and mockery, for a teenager it was all... It turned out to be too much. He breaks out of the snake coils of the enemy, hitting him in the face with his fist with all his might, hearing a pleasant crunch of a damaged cheek and, he hopes, broken teeth. The new bruise almost immediately begins to pulsate, filling with a purple hue.

Blue eyes from the blow become only more insane and a strange affection blazing with demonic fire. Endo, as if tearing off the mask of an angel, a jester, becoming so scorchingly scary that Sakura involuntarily swallows bloody saliva, looking in horror in front of himself. There are so many thoughts in his head and they all concern the wounds on the boys' bodies, the limp bodies, the rough blows...

The aura of danger, desire and sin fills the air with the smell of ozone and Haruka jumps back a little further, trying to maintain an illusory sense of safety and space.

The black, unbridled flame that is Yamato's hair looks more disheveled than usual. He almost lazily tucks a strand behind his ear, baring his bloody teeth, looking even more like a predator than the animals in zoos that Sakura has ever seen.

"W-what kind of nonsense are you talking?!..." Sakura is scared, he doesn't understand anything anymore. But a bitter, poisonous thought flows down his mouth and he feels sick when he spits it on the ground. The thought that all of this was useless, that they had another goal, and all of Bofurin was just useless expendable material that just got involved in all of this.

Just like that. For no reason.

It brings him pain somewhere in his cracked ribs and bile rises up when he clamps his mouth shut. The almost panicky thoughts of his friends being beaten for nothing kills with toxic smoke, crawling into his lungs, settling among his entrails with a satisfied cat-like grin. After all, even then his stupid little friend was beaten up for no reason...

His insides clench into an unpleasant lump when he imagines their bloody faces, imagines how much pain they are all in now. How they are all suffering. If Endo is willing to give up the city so easily for Sakura, then the reason for this "War" is completely different from Bofurin.

Haruka feels his hands shaking, his eyes involuntarily rolling back as he stares straight at Yamato with a dazzled gaze. He used to suffer from panic attacks very often, but now... This is strong. It makes him forget about everything in the world, and the thought that they will all die if he does not sacrifice himself drowns him in sorrow. Sakura is shaking and for the first time in his life does not know how to help himself.

In fact, he is so weak.

Sakura, almost without thinking, rushes forward in a desperate attempt to destroy the enemy with his bare hands, but he is easily thrown to the ground, all the air knocked out of his chest. Strong hands squeeze his throat, and Haruka scratches them, leaving bloody scratches mixed with his saliva flowing from his mouth. Yellow and blue eyes burn with horror, and the pupils tremble, flooding everything around with black lakes.

Yamato happily wraps himself around his body as the Serpent of Temptation, taking with him something important that was a secret even before Sakura. He simply desperately wants to be the reason for The New Deity to become fallen and step on earth because of him.

"Sakur-ra, this is a good offer for you. They are all suffering and continue to suffer because of you. If you were faster, they would already be free and safe. Your little friends are so valuable to you that I'll even give you a break: I'll give you some of my Noroshi, do you want them? More precisely, not to you anymore, but to Umemiya, if everything is okay with him," his eyes burn with dark clots of something bad when he squints. The shadow of a strange smile fills Sakura's entire being with a bad feeling and he wants only one thing: to run away from here. "The sacrifice of one person for the sake of all the others - that's a good deal, isn't it! You... Already lost."

Endo laughs happily, cheerfully, like a child who was given his favorite toy, squeezing his hands on his throat a little harder, leaving almost a necklace of blue pearls. Fingerprints that seemed to show Sakura's belonging to him. Yamato trembles with excitement when he sees his eyes slowly rolling back from lack of oxygen. He wants to press his Adam's apple right into his spine, break the fragile bones with his hands alone and make a sparkling white trophy out of them. Endo has always loved beautiful things, always loved the surge of emotion, and also, he has always loved breaking something perfect. Although he wants to break Sakura into pieces, to destroy the world of someone as strong, beautiful and undoubtedly dangerous as Takiishi - one of the best gifts for him. But perhaps he will break slowly, with priorities.

Sakura looks like he's about to pass out. He opens his mouth wide, trying with all his might to suck in more air into his trembling lungs, which are barely working due to the panic attack that never ended. Saliva runs down his chin unchecked, mixing with the almost dried blood as he barely moves his tongue to mutter a weak,

"I... I..."

"They never considered you part of Bofurin, Sakura," Endo continues nonchalantly, ignoring his feeble attempts to get out, only lowering his hand a little to provide more oxygen. "You're different. People like you are covered in a thick membrane of cruelty and hatred for all living things and they... They feel. What will they say when they find out that you've lost? They believed in you, sent you to fight me, but you... Kami-sama, you're just lying under me right now, trying to breathe. You're completely lost, but I'll help you find the light again. Just choose me..." his voice breaks into an almost desperate plea at the end, as he yearns for Sakura to choose him. Even if he already knows the answer, the words of his personal obsession, which will be spoken out loud, fill his body with a mind-blowing orgasm.

Endo Yamato has always loved to destroy other people's souls. Because he knows people better than they do; because it's fun to have such power over them; because they are weak, filled with human vices. Pathetic people are not at all like Takiishi Chika or Sakura Haruka. This is who should be above all... To tear off the scab on Sakura's wound, to pour in the poison of his own production - this is his primary plan. The poison makes the wound tender, corrodes the alien flesh, which begins to pulsate, constantly reminding of itself with a nagging pain. Until it devours healthy cells and the person drowns. This makes Endo dangerous in every fight - to put pressure on the psyche in time.

"I... W-will g-go-..."

He knows that Sakura has always been broken. Yamato saw the roughly mended cracks in his soul the first time they met. Wounds like this guy's simply do not heal. And when Endo cuts another thin surgical thread that runs through bloody, ugly scars, he gets great pleasure from the realization of his victory. And then he will be able to experience the fragility of these wounds and the density of the flesh inside for a long time...

His happiest smile in the world is shattered by a kick to the face that sends him flying several meters. He tumbles on the ground from inertia, growling from his carelessness - he was so busy with Haruka that he did not even notice the support that had arrived. Endo sits down on the ground, spitting another portion of bloody saliva on the ground, glaring wolfishly at the people who are already surrounding his Sakura. The teenager barely reacts to them, clears his throat, sits down on the ground, breathing deeply. His eyes open: they are filled with tears, horror and almost wild fear when he looks at Yamato. So already broken. So already only for him.

He knows that Sakura is broken right now. Yamato saw it when they first met. Wounds like this guy's just do not heal. And as he cuts another surgical thread through the bloody, ugly scars, he gets great satisfaction from the knowledge that he has already won. And he will be able to experience the fragility of these wounds for a long time...

His happiest smile in the world is shattered by a kick to the face that sends him flying several meters, causing him to flip to the ground by inertia. Endo growls, spitting blood on the ground, watching Sakura look at him with a stunned and scared look.

Yamato frowns, noticing the familiar face of Togame, who, in theory, should not be on this territory at all, but looking at his focused, almost aggressive face directed at Endo himself, he grins crookedly and laughs. Damn Togame. And why the hell, I ask, did he come here and now look at Sakura with such protection?

Hiragi and Togame look straight at Endo with tension, noting his madness that splashes at the bottom of his pupils, as well as his hatred for everyone who prevented him from doing what he had planned.

"Damn freaks! And I liked everything so much, fuck! You know how to kill all the spirit for a fight!" he screams, looking furious, ready to rush straight at them, tear them apart with just his sharp teeth and hands.

"Sakura-san, are you okay?! Oh, Kami-sama, he almost strangled you!" Nirei, kneeling next to his friend, lightly squeezes his shoulder, starting to shake him, so that at least for a moment Haruka will stop looking so... weak and scared. Sakura turns his dazed gaze to Suo, also sitting next to him, notices Sugishita's disheveled long hair, peers at the backs of his older comrades and... Doesn't feel safe. On the contrary, the bloody scenes of his disfigured comrades almost make him rush back into battle, but his friends forcefully hold him in place. And only now does he realize how much his limbs are shaking from everything that has fallen on him, and how broken he feels.

"So much blood... We hurried as best we could, Sakura-kun. You did well," Suo looks at him with an encouraging smile, lightly stroking Sakura's trembling hand in his palm. Haruka notices that even on his face, the face of a guy who has never received any injuries, he has several abrasions and a small bruise on his cheekbone. "How are you? You don't look well," although his voice sounds familiarly soft, a gaze filled with dark hatred slides over Endo's dark figure.

"Are you okay? Nothing is broken? Sorry, but we will have to interfere with your fight, Sakura-kun," Hiragi grins at him with fangs, although the smile does not reach his eyes. The tension between all of them can be felt with his hands, a pulsating lump of uncertainty and irrational fear when Sakura does not look like he usually does. As if in those minutes, or maybe hours, that they had not seen each other, he hung on the edge of the abyss, desperately clutching at the stones with his sliding palms. They were already bloody and he was about to fall into the abyss of something unknown. The unknown was the most frightening thing.

Togame only smiled at him, wanting to say something too, as Sakura lowered his face, hiding too many emotions in his eyes. He looked like someone who would break in half and collapse right now, carried away by the wind.

It's my fault. I should have done it sooner.

"I'm sorry... B-but I'm fine, really!" Sakura tries to smile, but it comes out crooked and unnatural. There's a whole abyss in his eyes, consisting of repeating images, of Yamato's repeating words "you're not needed, no one really needs you and it's all your fault," said in Endo's mocking, insane, blood-crusted voice. Haruka thinks about them more and more, and his head throbs from the beginning of a headache, when he tries to hold back a whining sound, or not to scream into the air again, releasing all the tension and hatred. "Thank you for coming, but this was my battle and no one else's. From the very beginning, many of you relied on me."

Sakura looks up and his eyes become serious, even adult.

It's my fault...

He sighs tiredly and smiles slightly, almost in an instant turning from a frightened lump of something incomprehensible into a strong and courageous leader. Even if there is no courage inside him, he convinces others of this, feeding on their confidence in him. This is what allows him to look like this.

"I'll be fine, believe in me," Haruka slowly gets to his feet, swaying from side to side from incredible fatigue, standing firmly on his feet.

In his head, in bright letters, an unbearably painful and nauseating lit up: "I will lose."

Even if I have to lose my life, I will do it. As long as they are safe. It's my fault.

Nirei weakly squeezes his pant leg, still sitting on his knees, as if afraid to let go. As if he does not believe in him. The others look at him with incomprehensible feelings, doubting his adequacy, but an adult, serious look makes them take a step back, letting him go forward. Sakura makes a huge effort to himself, and then clenches his jaw to the point where his teeth grind. If he loses, he will no longer have a place in Bofurin. They will all look at him and he will break down, because he will see the usual contempt in their eyes.

It is my fault.

"W-what? But you, after all are..." Broken. The word fills the air with innuendo, a heavy tremor, when they are no longer sure of anything. But if Haruka said it, then they are obliged to believe it. He never threw words to the wind.

Endo almost lazily rises to his feet, trembling from the sight of such Sakura - this damn guy knows how to surprise. Even if there are sparks of fear and complete defeat in his eyes, which he hides from others with the skill of a master, he can see them. And the fact that Haruka has already finally made a decision. Excitement takes over his head, pleasantly pulls in the lower abdomen, spreading like flames throughout his entire body and Yamato seems to be born again at this very moment. After all, Sakura is the sweetest. Even Takiishi cannot compare with the emotions he gives him.

"... If you lose, you will never dare touch Bofurin again," Haruka says in a quiet but confident voice, taking confident steps forward. He stands in front of Endo at a distance of three meters, looking up at him, while the wind strokes his things in cold waves, flutters his hair, as if supporting him. He does not allow him to completely fall apart before their eyes. "But, if you defeat me, then I will go with you, as we agreed," Sakura's face expresses universal fatigue when he takes another step forward, ignoring the frightened cry behind him. Most likely, they will all guess why he looked so scared and why Endo clung to him so much, not wanting to completely destroy him in a couple of blows. They will understand how weak Sakura is and will be disappointed in him. And Haruka does not want to see it.

Endo smiles widely, laughs just as disgustingly, but sincerely and happily, causing an unpleasant expression on Sakura's face. Yamato is already thinking about how he creates the new Deity with his gentle hands, how he molds Sakura into his personal ideal, reveals all his potential, holds his in every possible way, so that he just does not leave him alone. This will undoubtedly be right, because the Deity is created to be worshiped. And Endo knows how to do it perfectly, even being a crazy fanatic.

Fear does wild things to people. And Sakura has never been an exception. But Endo was created precisely to destroy these fears.

The changes in Haruka's face and behavior are so fast, almost frightening, making the company feel more and more uneasy. As if something was wrong from the very beginning, as they appeared on the battlefield. They feel a strange tremor in their chests, caused by such a false, but undoubtedly beautiful sight.

It's my fault. I'm sorry.

He apologizes to them all because he is...

     Losing.

"No... It can't be... Kami-sama, no, please!" Akihiko screams desperately, ignoring the wind that smears snot and tears across his flushed face. He lunges at Yamato, despite how weak he is in front of this frightening man. But he is stopped by a trembling, but still strong hand, which once again holds him back from reckless actions filled with emotions. Nirei turns to Suo, about to say something, when he notices his wide-open eye and a lost look that slides over Sakura's motionless body. The ground is cold, his hair is soaked with blood from his smashed face, but his hoarse breathing is the only thing that shows that Sakura is still alive.

Suo sighs heavily, clenching his jaw. So, Haruka knew he was going to lose. He knew, and yet he went forward anyway, to obvious defeat. The only question in his head sounded trembling, uncertain, as if it was not his own:

What did Endo say for Sakura, since he broke?

"Please, let us get him back! If you want to fight, I will! J-just... just don't go with him!" Nirei sobbed softly when his view was blocked by his older comrades: Hiragi and Togame, looking almost as stunned as Suo himself, clenching their fists, ready to rush into battle.

"Why do you need that stupid boy? He couldn't even... He couldn't even do what Umemiya-san told him to do!" Sugishita growled at Endo, going straight ahead, when Hiragi stopped him with his hand, not letting him go any further.

"What? Did you say something?" Endo's voice is laced with mockery, almost outright cynicism, as he tenderly lifts Haruka's limp body, throwing him over his shoulder, lazily wiping the fresh blood from his face, already thinking about what cute bandages to buy for him. "Where is the honor and nobility? Or have Furin completely defiled themselves during my absence? Ugh, what kind of whores are you, willing to lick my feet just for one person who lost. Sakura and I have talked about ma-a-any things, it's not my fault that he breaks so easily," he chuckles, slowly, almost lazily taking out his phone, aggressively grinning at them with bloody teeth, as if defending his property. "Are you going to break his word? How pathetic. You're the one talking about the power of friendship and you don't respect his decision."

Yamado dials a clearly familiar number, holding the phone to his ear with one free hand while gently supporting Haruka in his shoulder with the other. It doesn't even ring for a few seconds before someone unknown picks up the call.

"Hey, finish it now, tell the others to get the hell out of town... Wha-a-at? Are you doubting my confidence? I will personally count your teeth if it doesn't happen right now. And trust me - you won't like it. Leave the town," he licks his lips, licking the dried blood off his upper lip. He hangs up, putting the bloody phone back into his pocket after his touch. Noticing several shocked and tense looks from the Bofurin and Shishitoren members, he laughs cheerfully and lightly squeezes his hand on Sakura's strong thigh, earning an aggressive growl from Sugishita. "Oh, I didn't tell you? We were talking about him willingly leaving with me and I will taking all the people out of town at the very beginning, before you came. Really, he's such an adorable and kind little guy! That's why I fell in love with him!"

Endo spits onto the already bloody ground, looking up at the dark, heavy sky. By tomorrow morning, no one will even understand what a massacre there was. The rain will wash away all their traces. All traces of Sakura's presence in this damn Bofurin and Yamato promises himself this.

Haruka groans softly and opens his cloudy eyes, clearly trying to figure out what happened and where he is.

Oh. I lost after all.

"I promised to take care of you, remember, Sakura? I always keep my promises. Even if your broken wings become your only property and fall to the ashes in front of the strong sakura tree of your soul. You have no idea how excited I am, knowing that the Deity descended to earth because of me," he squints, while something unearthly, shrouded in mystery, burns in his blue eyes. Haruka does not understand anything yet, but he will definitely understand. "I will kiss your bloody footprints, Sakura. This is the proper way to treat a Deity."

Already imagining how beautiful Haruka will look in a white expensive kimono, how he will look at him rebelliously, while Takiishi will also admire his otherworldly beauty. The otherworldly rage towards Endo that splashes inside each of the Deities towards him makes him almost desperately want to be the only one they will look at. Oh, what a pity that this will not happen. He really is bad at judging people.

"What kind of fucking psycho are you... This is the most stupid and idiotic philosophy I have ever heard..." Sakura wheezes, unable to do anything more. The bruises on his throat are already forming a beautiful collar, and he literally feels how his tongue is barely moving, and his vocal cords cannot make a normal sound.

The others shudder, hearing such undoubtedly vulgar revelations, unable to move from their place, only able to look with hatred at the satisfied, crazy Endo.

Yamato thoughtfully slides his gaze over the dark holes of the school windows. He wonders if he wants to watch the fight between the first Deity and the head of Bofurin... Will they be needed there, or will they just be an unpleasant hindrance? Oh, he would not want to disturb Takiishi. But, he will definitely not be happy when Umemiya goes crazy not from a fight with Takiishi, but from the fact that his dear first-year student burned in Hell together with him, with Endo. And he will burn there for a long time, but this time with the two of them.

So, he decides to leave and take care of Sakura, passing by the company standing in a stupor. It is as if they are all frozen in time, staring into the void in front of them. Surely, each of them is thinking about how he let Haruka down.

He can imagine how Sakura will take a step towards Yamato on his own. He is a little different from Chika and their love will also be different. Sweeter and more comfortable. He is waiting for this with bated breath in his heart, which will tremble in other palms. He will give half of himself to the lonely, not knowing good treatment Sakura, who, like a little silly kitten, pokes at the hands extended in a good-natured gesture, just to get his portion of affection. And it is really very sweet.

Sakura's face continues to drip ruby blood and to Yamato, it's the most delicious cherry juice.

"Oh, and one more thing," he nonchalantly turns to Togame, Hiragi, Nirei, Suo, Sugishita and smirks at them, ignoring the fact that Tsubakino and the other two guys are slowly coming to their senses. "Tell Takiishi that if he comes out soon, we will wait for him outside the city."

Endo walks away slowly, his steps firm on the ground, holding Sakura on his shoulder. Rain begins to fall from the sky, hiding their presence from the others.

Notes:

I recently decided to start watching Wind Breaker and, Kami-sama, I swear, I covered Umemiya's face with my hand several times (in the anime he was voiced by Yuichi Nakamura and I'm starting to think that this is not a coincidence), and was convinced that he is the reincarnation of Gojo in this universe. There is even a male version of Maki, Toge and even Haibara! I won't even mention that I heard VA other characters from Jujutsu Kaisen... Anyway, what can I say... From anime to anime, from manga to manga, and from universe to universe, my preferences in villain/hero do not change...

So, I also can say that this is a little experiment for me. Usually, my works are about 80-90% focused on psychology and emotions, and the rest is dialogue or action. And here I tried to weave in a fight and Endo's unstable emotional state and a little bit of Sakura. My God, have you read those damn chapters starting from 137? I don't know about others, but I can say that this is now my favorite ship in this manga, and it's served on a platter by Nii Satoru himself. Well, thanks for such an emotional swing that inspired me!

I think I've written too many enthusiastic comments about this manga and anime, so I think that's enough.

Write comments if you liked it... And if you didn't like it, write too - just be gentle. Your opinion is my inspiration! :3
