Shuri, a library barista by day and a broke college student by night, finds her luck changing the day a handsome older businessman walks in asking for a cold brew and something more.
“How big was the tip?” T’Challa asks and N’Jadaka snorts, wanting to make an inappropriate joke until T’Challa kicks him underneath the table.
“Uh… Like a couple hundred dollars!?”
“ What!?”
Shuri finally looks away from her assignment to see her brother and cousin gaping at her.
“He was some rich dude looking at the conference rooms upstairs for work purposes or something. He came to the café for a cold brew, said it was the best coffee he ever had, and tipped me generously. That’s all there is to it.”
“Oh.” N’Jadaka points at her with his mouth full. “He wants to fuck.”
