He knows about his daughter which means he can approach her in person before she chases him in dreams.
She stares.
“You’re supposed to be dead,” she says.
“They are called bad ends for a reason,” Tsukasa says. Kaitou Sumire huffs.
“You can’t have one of those,” she says.
“Maybe not,” Tsukasa says. “But I can reset my own life when I die. I saw your time.”
Sumire looks away.
“So you just did nothing while they fell apart?” She asks. “While my brother’s corpse rotted into a monster?”
“I did,” Tsukasa says. “I’d already given up.”
“And that makes it okay?” Sumire asks. “That was my life . My soulmate. Gone. Because you weren’t there.”
“…I know,” Tsukasa says. “I’m sorry. But I have a gift for you.”
He pulls it out. A disk. He hands it to Sumire, who inspects it.
“It’s purple,” she says. “This isn’t Decade.”
“It’s not,” Tsukasa agrees. “It’s Violet. It’s for you to save your new friends from the dead that shouldn’t exist.”
Sumire glares.
“He’s my brother,” she says. “Not some monster.”
“Oh, he’s both,” Tsukasa says. “Let’s see how you handle it, Kamen Rider Violet.”
She flinches.
“I can’t transform.”
“That choice is up to you, too.”
She storms away.
She usually loses. Her own timeline was special. Watching them not survive his refusal to come home, and the whole universe topple with it. He knew it wasn’t about himself, and every loop since, she toppled out of a portal to help another Rider’s story and blame all her problems in Tsukasa’s death.
She was right, but it still hurt to hear it, at the time.
Following her now, it’s different. The DienDriver warps, and she attaches the disk. She’s never done that before.
Her brother lives, too.
