“Are you sure you’re going to be alright?” Bob whispered as he rubbed Mark’s back. Tyler and Wade had to continue with the show, explaining the next bit they were going to do. Wade had helped him up from the floor and pulled him to the side. Mark was quick to get up on his feet with the help of Bob subtly keeping the other in balance.
”Y-Yea, just needa go off-stage real q-quick.” Mark managed to wheeze. Bob raised an eyebrow but nodded.
Mark forced a smile before just barely managing to stumble off-stage, the sounds of the crowd slowly muffling out.
I can’t breathe I can’t breathe I can’t breathe I can’t breathe-
One of his hands was on his knee. The other was grabbing on one of the chairs. He continued to gasp for air before looking up and seeing Amy running to him.
Help me help me help me help me help me help me help me help-
“A-Amy-.” Mark wheezed before trying to walk towards her, tears welling and spilling out. He nearly tripped onto his face but Amy caught him in time. She grunted softly before helping Mark to a chair.
”Come on baby, come on.” Amy whispered to him and subtly to herself.
She quickly cracked open a bottle of water and helped Mark drink it down slowly. Some of the crew members behind the curtain began to come up to Amy and asked her if she needed help. She shook her head gently before focusing her attention to Mark, squatting down in front of him. He continued to wheeze loudly for a bit, rolling his head back and breathing through his teeth. Amy ran a hand through his hair, whispering words that he couldn’t understand, possibly trying to calm him down. He could feel her thumb wiping away some tears that were falling down his face.
”Ugh…” Mark groaned as he crushed up the plastic water bottle. His hand ran through his messy hair as his breathing pace slowly regulated back to normal. “It’s so hot.”
”Mark you’re burning up…” Amy mumbled as she pressed a hand on his sweaty forehead. “You better rest. The others can-.”
”No Amy, it’s fine.” Mark half-whined as he sat up straighter. “I can finish this show, it’s fine. Don’t gotta worry about me.”
“Are you sure?” Amy asked softly. Seeing him falling on the stage already scared her enough. She didn’t want him to continue if he really wasn’t feeling that well.
”It’s for the fans, I don’t want them to worry.” Mark huffed, chugging down another bottle of water. “Besides, this isn’t the worst I have been in.” He added a quiet chuckle at the end to try and encourage Amy.
Amy hummed reluctantly as she stood up. She could hear Ethan, Tyler, Bob, and Wade continue their improv on stage and laughing loudly. Mark’s eyes seemed to drift to the curtains, wanting to go back on stage. Amy noticed and rolled her eyes. “Alright Mark… but I am going to pamper you once this tour is over, ya got that?”
”Yes ma’am.” Mark chuckled with a drawl.
Amy rolled her eyes with a smirk as she pushed his hair up and gave him a kiss on the forehead. “You’re gonna need a shower after this. Come on buddy.” She sighed as she helped him to his feet.

The show had finally ended. The curtain had dropped. The four, plus some of the crew, decided to go out to have a drink at a bar. Ethan was especially worried but Mark managed to convince Ethan that he was fine. Mark decided to stay in the tour bus, he couldn’t drink after all.
”Hey Mark, you feeling better?” Amy asked as she peered inside the tour bus. She had just come back from a snack haul and was carrying bags of snacks.
”Mmm.” She could hear him grunt as he pulled on a shirt, his glasses going askew. She chuckled as she dropped the bags of snacks on the table inside. “You should go out with the others, have some fun.” Mark insisted.
”Nah, I’d rather make sure you feel better.” Amy chuckled, ruffling Mark’s hair.
”C’mon, don’t be a bore just for me.” Mark whined jokingly. He sat on the seat and pulled out a pack of gummies from the bags.
Amy rolled her eyes as she sat and curled up next to Mark, pulling out her phone. Mark pulled his blanket over his girlfriend. The two curled up and cuddled in the blanket. The two sat in silence for a good long while before Amy looked up to her boyfriend. “Hey Mark?”
”Mm?” Mark turned to look at his girlfriend, setting his phone down.
”What did it feel like?” She asked, raising an eyebrow.
”Whatddya mean?” Mark sat up straighter, adjusting his glasses.
”On stage, nearly passing out.” Amy shrugged. “Ethan told me that he nearly wanted to go off-stage just to check on ya.”
A small frown flickered on the other’s face. “Oh… I dunno. Just couldn’t breathe.”
”Really? Just like that?”
”Yea…” Mark mumbled, scratching the side of his face. A couple seconds passed before he added on a bit more. “I really thought I was going to pass out on camera actually. Kinda scary.”
”Doh… Mark.” Amy hummed, nuzzling her face in the crook of Mark’s neck and giving him soft kisses down his jawline.
”Amy, you know that tickles.” Mark mumbled softly, a small smile forming on his face and the corners of his eyes creasing.
The two giggled before Amy went and pulled out a slab of pills. “You need these?”
Mark shook his head softly. “Nah, you already did the job.” He said in a dopey voice, a lop-sided grin on his face.
”Gross…” Amy cringed sarcastically. Mark laughed softly as Amy rested her head on his shoulder. He gave her a soft kiss on top of her head before resting his chin on her head. Amy gave a small whine but didn’t seem to fight him off.
”I love you.”
”Love you too.”
