Summary
After putting Discord back in his place, the ponies all spend the night in Canterlot Castle to rest up for the trip back home. But after the excitement and horror of the last few days, no one is getting any sleep. Even though they're all finally themselves again, they can't shake the discomfort, the anxiety, and the bad memories associated with what he'd done to them.
Discord had fundamentally changed them, and even if they'd all come together to triumph in the end, the six ponies have a lot to cope with. Including and especially the fear that their friendship might not be as strong as they'd thought.
Fortunately, things have a way of working themselves out in Canterlot. And if no one's going to sleep, they might as well have some fun instead.
