We asked for their help. Begged and pleaded for them to help us save our home. But we were rejected and abandoned.

Ladybug had tried to convince the Justice League to as much as see what had been happening in Paris for the past couple years but they paid us no mind. The league had said they reviewed our claims and saw nothing they should be concerned about. I do not know if this is a part of the magic from the miraculous or bad timing on videos and media but I wasn't going to sit around and continue to beg for their attention like some dog asking for his owners validation. We didn't even got a name or who was reviewing our claims, it was as if they didn't even care.

We have then went on to fight this war on our own but now that we have lost everything our options and ideals have run short and thin.

I've tried to stay positive and optimistic but even I know we needed their help as much as I'd like to admit it or not.

Ladybug had already told me everything about what she had done as the gaudian including the identities of the other holders. I was still upset about the whole ordeal especially with Rena and Carapace.

Though I to have had my fair share of mistakes so I couldnt blame her to much for her dicisions especially with the fact she didn't even choose to be gaudian but now we have put our differences and arguments to rest for the sake of the city.

Alone in a war where Hawkmoth could call all the shots. He had everything and everyone under his control.

 The miraculous along with the mercy of the citizens of Paris and even Europe had come to fear they would never be free from his shadow.

We have grown tired and desperate for a way out, for a way to win but so far nothing has come up.

We are at the end of our rope and I'm not sure how much of this I could take. I'm supposed to be her shield but what happens when the shield cracks and breaks

The blonde sighed and groaned rubbing his head.  Months have passed since hawkmoth had stolen all the kwmais from the miracle box. And almost six years since they had first put on the miraculous.The two heros had been fighting almost day and night but they had little success. Hawkmoth truly had them under his finger and by this point he had just been toying with them more often than actually trying to retrieve their own miraculous. It was sickening and tiresome for the young heros as they spent all their energy on the battle field.

  Even his home life had been a lot worse as his father had taken drastic measures to keep the male up and running...very drastic measures as he would call them.

The Justice League had all but abandoned them but the two were running out of options and fast. With the city in ruins the two sat on the remains of the beloved Eoffel Tower

This was all that remained of their once beautiful home as now all that was left was the empty streets and broken buildings

No one knew why the league had ignored them. Some had thought it had to do with the magic of the jewels while others beilived they just simply didn't want to intervene.

But everyone was in agreement that they needed a savior and needed it now and so the two heros looked on in silence.

"Ladybug what will we do"said the black cat as he looked over at his partner

The girl looked down at ths floor unable to stare at her partner in the eyes anymore for she felt like a failure no matter how many times said male stated otherwise.

"I'm not sure Chat, I'm truly not sure"was all she said as the wind blew around them making their hair flow into the wind

Months of this cycle had caused the two to neglect their own needs so their hair had grown longer, messy along with bags under their eyes and skinny bodies showing the outline of their spines. The two were not doing well and they knew it but what could they do except...

"What if I left to find the league myself" the black cat questioned as he got up from one of the beams looking down at ladybug.

The red hero blinked up at her partner in shock as she had widened eyes"b-but chat they want nothing to do with us'

"But we have to try something...anything look around Ladybug there is nothing left we have two choices either we continue to fight a losing battle or I will go searching for help. I know you can't leave because of the akumas but I can. I can bring them here"the cat explained in an almost pleasing manner as if he was begging for permission to go to the park from his mother.

Ladybug looked at him in skeptically as the other miraculous holders came over for their scheduled report. Even though they had no powers they refused to leave the duo and did everything they could to help them.

Chat looked at all of them as he then sighed softly and looked out into the city.

" shadowland, the leaves have fallen" said the hero as the others looked at him sadly 

"This shadowland, this was our home" exclaimed Luka looking up at the night sky as he continued "the rivers dry, the ground has broken"  the raven haired boy finished looking at the group as they all were silent knowing full well the reality of their lives.

Chat was the first to speak the first to come up with an answer "so I must go" he said making the others heros look at him in surprise.

Leave Paris but then they would be even more defenseless then they already were but if he stayed nothing would change and things would definitely get worse.

"Now I must go and where the journey may lead me let your prayers be my guide" the blonde shivered slightly as the image of Hawkmoth pleuged his mind but also conforming to the male what he was about to do was the right choice.

"I cannot stay here. My family but I'll remeber my pride"

"I have no choice this is our land and we have to defend it" Chat stated ss if he were making a point.

The group looked on as alya went up to the cat hero"but how would you know where to go we can barley leave the city by now Hawkmoth has trapped us like animals"

"I will find my way, tear-stained" he responded softly to her

"Take this prayer with you, what lies out there"

He stepped away from the group remembering simpler days. Back when the land was green, happy as it had a bright future, now It was nothing but a westland, grey and dark. Not even the sun itself shone through anymore 

He felt a small hand on his shoulder as he turned around meeting the eyes of his beloved partner.

"And where the journey may lead you let this prayer be your guide" she said softly with tears in her eyes as she pulled him into a hug "though it may take you so far away always remeber your pride" she said as she kissed his cheek and smiled softly at him

"Come back to me maniou"

"Go to Su-Han he may have something to help you we will work on getting a distraction ready for you to leave please be careful"she said as the cat nodded as he then leaped off into the night sky heading towards the sewers where the Celestial Gaudian sometimes resided.

Once he was found the cat wasted no time as he ran up to him.

"Su ban I'm leaving Paris to find help will you please help me"said the young blonde as the gaudian looked down at him with a somewhat worried expression

"It will be dangerous Chat Noir and I cannot promise that you will come back alive"he responded with a low tone.

"I know but I'd rather go out and attempt to find help and save our home then stay here and die letting Howkmoth get his way. The kwamis are under his control and as long as that continue none of us will be free"

The man reached into his hanfu pulling out a tiny bottle with a green liquid inside"you are very brave, take this it is all I have of the flying potion I do not know how far it will take you. I have heard of a city across the ocean, Gothem it is the closest place from here. There you will find Batman and his team but I am not sure if he was involved in your previous interactions with the League"with that he handed the bottle and as Chat bowed to the gaudian ready to run off he heard the old man whisper one final blessing before be was gone

May your ancestors bless you Adrien.

With that final goodbye both sides hoped and preyed

"And where the journey may me let this prayer be your guide"

Chat drank the potion, turning his suit into his astro cat form he flew up into the sky watching from the distance as he noticed explosions and fire spread throughout Centeral Paris knowing it was his team giving him time to escape

"Though it may take me(you) so far away I'll remeber my pride"

"Let this prayer be your guide" the team whispered watching the faint black spot passed the boarder of France

Chat looked back at his home as it disappeared behind him

"I will return, I will return"

Ladybug watched from the tallest building as as shed a tear

Though it may take you so far away, always remeber your pride"

With that Chat Noir was gone and so  Paris' last hope of freedom came to surface 

Adrien had been on his own for quite some time. He knew the spell wouldn't last much longer as he could already feel the heaviness of his body slowly overtaking him

He looked around himself in an attempt to see any sort of land but there was absolutely nothing except water and the moon

"I hope everything is alright at home I don't wnat this to be all for nothing"he blonde said to himself as his large wings flapped against the calm wind. The smell of salt water surrounded him giving the lone hero a sense of peace

Adrien yawned softly stopping a bit above the ocean waves, stretching out his muscles the male looked up at the moon in wondor

"I wondor what the Justice League will be like when I find them, that is even if i can" sighing the boy continued to fly into the night his stomach long since empty of any food or water but the cat continued to push on but he knew he wouldn't be able to hold on for much longer, he hoped he would reach Gotham before his transformation wore off and he became fish food.

As the young male faught against the feeling of dozing off his green eyes landed on the far away sight of land

Gothem City

With a new found rise of energy Adrien quickly sped up his pace trying to get closer to the city and with one final flap of his wings he heard the last of the timer on his ring, engulfed by a green light Adrien barely managed to crash land into a dumpster before his transformation fell off completely leaving him vonerable and his kwmai exposed

"Ughh kid your really cutting it close "said the kwmai of distinction as he slowly sat up on a trash bag"ew it smells in here...and where is my cheese"

Adrien signed softly as he sat back on the mush and grease of the loose piles of random trash

"Plagg we are basically stray cats now we don't have the money for your cheese I'm sorry buddy we will just have to make due with what we have...and we have nothing left plagg"

Adrien stuck his head out from the trashcan as he scanned around the area

"This place is a mess and in ruins, reminds me of back home"be mumbled and sighed as he laid back on the trash using it as a makeshift bed

"Get some rest plagg we have a long day tomarrow I don't even know where we are going to start"the blond mumbled and sighed looking up at the clouded sky while his kwami looked on at his holder watching the boy fall asleep as he let out a sigh

"Your far to young to be dealing with this Adrien I'm so sorry" with that the small kwmai flew over to his holder snugging to his neck as he to drifted off to sleep

The sound of a loud bang surrounded Adrien as he shot up awake hanging his head on the rusted old lid of the garbage bin he had called his bed last night

The male stayed silent as he saw how the lit ever so slightly bent inward into the bin towards him

Somone was standing on it forcing the blonde to stay completly silent and still

Hopefully the smell of old trash and rats would be enough to hide any sort of unfermilier scent to whoever had unknowingly trapped the cat hero in the trash.

Adrien listened in closely as the voices above him conversed.

"Batman said the Gothem city police spotted a bright green light in the sky last night"a voice stated as the person walked on the lid of the bin unknowingly being so close to this "green light".

Adrien blinked slightly as he looked over at his kwami, a small smirk plastered on the little demons face was all the confermation the blonde needed to know that he had come to the right place now he just had to find the famous protector as soon as he could. Adrien kept quiet as he listened in on the conversation hoping to get any sort of clues to where the bat could be or even where he could fund him.

"Have they been able to identify what it was"said another tone bug this one sounded younger then the other.

"No it disappeared into the city sources say it looked like whatever it was had a crash landing, some think it was green lantern but what would he be doing here without informing us"the other questioned ad he hopped off the trash bin and landed on the dirty broken floor of the alleyway.

"Whoever it is we have to be careful they could be dangerous" the younger male responded.

"Well let's hope it's nothing serious let's go robin"with that the two walked away from the alley leaving behind their mysterious visitor.

Adrien sighed deeply letting his trapped breath escape his lungs as he was finally able to relax "that was close"he said as he looked over to his kwami

"Kid you have to be careful gothem is nitrous for being dangerous you might was to also find a way to disguise yourself and hide the ring who knows what people would think seeing a pretty boy running around with a silver ring"the little being stated as he took on an unusual sense of responsibility to the situation. The blonde blinked and stared at his companion in surprise as the cat then scoffed and turned away from him.

"I just dont want to tell ladybug chat noir was captured because he was being iditotic and because I have cheese waiting for me back at home"

Adrien smed softly at his freind and shook his head"whatever plagg now let's get out of here and see what we can do about food and clothes "

Adrien sighed softly as he looked around the beaten down city"alright now where would I begin my search"he asked his hidden kwmai.

He had found a ripped cloth not to long ago, using it he was able to create a makeshift necklace to place his ring on then hid it in his shirt as only some of the cloth was visible. Though it wasnt the best idea in the world he was at ease he was able to hide the ring from sight while also still technically wearing it so plagg was still out with him.

As he had searched for a disguise amongst the many piles of random trash and parts to any mysterious object he could think of, Adrien had found an old ripped hooded cloak. He dusted off what he could of dust and dirt then wrapped the cloak around himself. The pampered model side of him hissed at the dirty conditions he had brought himself into but the boy faught through it and pushed on as be knew ladybug and all of Paris, possibly even Europe was counting on him to bring them help.

Walking around the chaotic and broken streets left the boy on high alert. He had heard about Gotham with its crime and unstable negitive atmosphere, so much so that the city alone had a whole gang of heros at its disposal.

Sure Paris had it's fair share or heros, ladybug and chat noir were the main heros around and even then chat himself was the "social"one from the two.

With a slight chuckle Adrien wondered the city not exactly knowing where he was going. The blonde stopped in his tracks as a realization struck into his mind like thunder.

How was he going to find Batman anyway

Coming to a sudden stop Adrien came face to face with a wall. He must have lost his train of thought for a second as he thought what exactly he was going to do.

With a sigh and shake of his head he turned around to hopefully retake his steps but he stayed silent as the sound of a falling object caught his attention.

Looking around the darkened alleyway laughter and choking was heard as Adrien slowly backed up against the wall he had ran into previously.

"Well well well look what we got here"a dark voice echoed against the cracked walls followed by shadows against the concrete as the lights from the cracked lights as they flickered from above.

The lone male looked on with a hardened stare as even though his cloak hid his face judging by his size he knew he was a lot smaller then his pulpitators.

"Look I dont want any trouble I'm just kind of lost so if you dont mind I'll be on my way"stated the male as he made an attempt to leave the alley but was immediately stopped as a large built man came from the shadows smirking down at the boy.

Adrien stared at him as he could smell the cigarettes and alcohol coming from him and judging by his tattered and messed up clothes he knew this guy was not somone he could make peace with so easily.

"Now now you look far to young to be alone out here little boy have you never been told gow dangerous it is out here on the streets"reaponded the other as he smirked down at the young teenager, his teeth were bent and yellow giving off a smell that the young teen had no choice but to look away in an attempt to get some decent smelling air.

The man scowled as he grabbed the boy by his cloak causing his food to fall back exposing the boy to everyone who so happened to walk by. With a glint in the mans eye he smirked down at his captor an idea looming in his mind.

"My my pretty boy arnt you, I wonder how much people would pay to play with somone like you"with a chuckle escaping his throat the criminal was about to make a move to knock out the blond but was immediately stopped by a voice from up on a rooftop.

"Hey leave him alone or else I'll make you regret it"

Both males looked up to the roof as adriens eyes widened in shock as his green eyes landed on the figure of one of gothem's top heros.

"Nightwing"

Everything was silent as even the noise from the city seem to cut off.

Adrien looked up at the man infront of him, still holding onto his caller, with a sharp kick to the gut the blond was now on the ground groaning as his pulpitator was now running away from nightwing who had been silent this whole tine.

"You dont look like your from here your to...innocent looking"stated the vigilante as he walked over to the smaller male.

He stopped right infront of him causing the blonde to instinctively look up at him meeting his covored eyes with his own emerald ones.

Adrian's life flashed before him, his muscles that had been sore for the past day from not only sleeping in a bin but flying across the ocean, sleepless nights, unsteady hours of battle and the ongoing stress from the past couple of years had finally caught up to him. Everything slowly started to sink into his head now realizing exactly what was going on.

Nightwing stared down at the boy in slight worry noticing his blank and widened eyes. Before he could ask the blonde any further questions the boy slowly began to fall forward onto the ground before him in pure exhaustion and stress.

The raven haired male lunged forward catching the blonde in his arms as Adrien slowly fell into unconsiousness.

The last thing that came from the blondes lips both worried and confused the older man,

"Please help us"

Cold

Why am I so cold

Where am I. Am I dead. If this is death then why is it so quiet...so dark

'How are his vitals"

Who's that

"They are stable but hes completly exhausted and malnourished"

I wondor who they are tlaking about

"His body already started to break down his bone marrow"

Are..are they tlaking about me

Everything feels so  heavy. I'm trying to move but something kept holding me down. Why does everything hurt.

Please be quiet, I just want to sleep...

Falling into the darkness of his mind Adrien blocked all noises and distractions from him , something he had been used to doing for a while now.

After the blonde had fainted in nightwings arms he was brought immediately to the batcave. Usually people would have been taken to gothem hospital but something...was different about him. Nightwing wasnt the type to be superficial or about aura but seeing the male and hearing his plee brought something deep within himself...something the blonde had as the black haired male had lost

The blonde had hope, he had a drive.

Yes the ex Robin loved his job, his city and his role but it all became more of a rutine, like he had to fight but the blonde in his arms was in no condition to fight or battle. Hell he couldnt even defend himself but something shone in his emerald eyes

Something he respected

So now he stood in the batcave with the unconscious male along with alfred as they worked on hooking the blonde up to a monitor.

Said butler looked over at the young lad, his gloves now covored in blood from the unknown male as he managed to have some wounds that had been reopened or unattended new wounds they suspected was from his attacker.

Unbeknownst to them those new and unknown wounds had been there due to adriens lifestyle but neither man really thought a boy adriens age and stature was capable of something like that as even some of his bones had healed incorrectly.

Time passed slowly for nightwing as he watched the boy as he slept, his condition now stabilized but he showed no indication of waking up anytime soon.

Footsteps echoed through the cave as dick looked up from the Male seeing the one and only batman.

"Dick what are..."the dark knight started then stopped his sentence seeing the knocked out blonde on the stretcher

"Dick explain to me why there is a boy in here"he said staring down to his eldest son.

Everything was silent in the cave as nightwing stared at batman who in turn crossed his arms scowling at the younger male. Alfred moved around the two cleaning, stitching and putting all sorts of medicines in the knocked out blonde.

"Look Bruce I was out on potrol as usual, heading back home actually when I saw him getting chased by that underground gang we have been trying to locate.."he started but then was cut off

"So why did you bring him here, what If he were to wake up and see us dick" Bruce responded as dick took off his mask.

"I wasnt planning on bringing him here, he fainted in my arms after I saved him"dick stated sitting down at the table"....he said something that made me change my mind"

This caught both Bruce's and Alfred's attention waiting for the other to finish

"He said please help us. He has an accent. A very thick accent I dont think hes from here"dick stated looking up at them.

Bruce let out a sigh as he ran his fingers through his hair looking down at the boy"i can already tell something has happened to him those wounds are not normal...maybe abuse"

"But why would he come to us, wouldnt the police he more useful in something like that "asked dick as he to looked at the mysterious boy

Alfred stood by the medical table as he cleaned off ghe last of the males wounds"if you want my input masters I think there is more to this boy then you think...I mean look at him hes gorgeous but incredibly skinny and dehydrated, his hair is a complete mess and tangled and if what master dick said about him not being from here...maybe hes a refugee"

Both men looked at eachother as they then walked over to the male

Bruce blinked leaning down to the boys arms seeing some tiny puncture wounds.

"Alfred did you miss his vain or something "he asked looking up at the old butler. Said Male looked over at him then frown softly seeing the males skin

"No master Bruce those marks were already there, I assume they have been from some sort of needle"

The two vigalanties blinked staring down at their visitor in both shock and worry

What happened to this boy

It had been hours since the mysterious blonde had appeared to the two protectors of the dark city, yet no movement nor any indication of who this boy was had come up from their searches.

Not a single missing childs case was made fitting the boys discruption. It felt as if they had been searching in the wrong place but where else could they look.

Dick sighed in frustration as he ran a hand through his messy hair, his eyes ached and burned from looking at the bright screen of the batconputer for so long.

Turning his back to the boy who now laid on the couch he got up heading back upstairs to the mannor leaving him alone feeling as if he was of no threat to them. Unknown to him and the rest of the Waynes a certain creature had been waiting for them to leave for sometime now.

Plagg zipped out from his hiding spot deep within the cracks of the cave hidden away for God knows how long by that point. He had managed to sneak away when Bruce came down as everyone had focused their attention and questions onto, dick giving the little God time to escape from adriens shirt before he had been seen or found. Flying over to his charge the kwami sighed softly as he pulled on the boy's golden hair trying to wake him up"come on gamin your stronger then this...."plagg let the blonde locks fall from his tiny paws as he looked down at the boy.

Seeing him so defenseless...so vulnerable made the black kwami become saddened, he knew he should have done more for his charge though he wasn't sure why he hadn't before. He knew that the young hero just wanted to be seen, to be wanted and to be needed but now that goal became less of a reality and more of well...a dream.

Sighing softly the kwami looked over tl the monitor showing the blondes condition.

Everything looked fine, his vitals had been stabilized but Adrien had been so sleep deprived and exhausted that he just completly shut down and plagg really wasnt sure when he'd wake up if he would at all.

The kwmai's ears twitched slightly, hearing footsteps coming closer the being quickly zoomed away hiding behind the batconputer before he could have been discovered.

Coming down the stairs Bruce looked around somewhat expecting the mysterious male to somehow woken up and escaped but was surprised to see him still there completly asleep

Walking up to the blonde, Bruce stared down at him. Adriens skin had gotten a light layer of dust and dirt from his previous night in the trash as gis skin had been slightly sunken in on his face though Hjs body itself showed something completly different. His body was nothing but skin and bones but yet his hair and nails were in great condition. These details didnt add up.

"Hmm I've never seen somone like you around here before..no one in gothem would be stupid enough to run into a dark alleyway like that"ssid the detective as he then started to think about what had happened the night before.

Going over to his cumputer he pulled up a video from an eye witness showing the bright green light that had crashed into the city. Looking back to the blond he then noticed a small lump under his shirt.  Walking over to him in slight curiousity he felt the lump oj the blondie's collarbone, feeling a hard meterial. The raven haired Male was about to lolk further when a hand quickly grabbed onto his wrist squeezing it in a surprising grip.

Following the hand snd arm now wrapped around his own he looked up towards the blonde meeting the gaze of hard, fear filled emerald green eyes.

"Who are you

Silence filled the batcave as blue eyes stared into the harsh green orbs of the mysterious male. Bruce was planning to immediately interrogate the young man but
something...something stopped him.

From all his years as not only batman but also a detective he had come to learn how to read people, their body language, their hand movements and especially their eyes and right now interrogating and intamadateing this young teenager was not what was best for the situation at hand

Looking down at him the bat stepped back giving the teenager room to sit up hoping he would at least get a name out of him, maybe then they could see where he came from.

"Who are you"asked Bruce staring intently down at the Male hoping to use his presence to get the boy to talk. Said boy just looked up at him, his eyes unmoving and unresponsive almost blank as if he had no emotion or fear left in them.

Looking over at him the blonde teared his gaze around the cave looking at all the technology and geer around him.

"Where am I"asked the blonde, his accent thick and rough no dought from the exhaustion and strain he had gone through

The elder of the two stared down at him, his eyes cold and distant. Knowing he couldn't sugarcoat this he was thankful he had gotten into his uniform earlier for potrol

"Your in the batcave"was his only response as he felt that the blonde would crumble in fear under that realization but he was taken a back by what he heard come out from the boys mouth

"...well that was easier then I thought it would be"he said as he slowly sat up on the bed groaning from the pain

"Wait you were looking for the batcave...why"he said more defensively as he quickly got up ready to fight the boy even though he was bedridden

"Calm down batman I am not here as a threat I came to ask for your help"responded the blonde as he looked up at the vigilante.

Batman opened his mouth to respond when at that moment Nightwing came down a paper in his hands

"Hey I think I found out who sleeping beauty..."Nightwing  stopped in his tracks seeing said boy staring down at him, his eyes gleaming with curiousity

The blonde smirked slightly as he slowly got up, a bit wobbly and shaken up but sighed as he stretched out "ah looks like they finally noticed I've been missing"he chuckled looking over at the stunned ex-Robin

"...yes I assume your name is.. Adrien Agreste"

Adrien smiled as he bowed to them "at your service"

Batman took the part from nightwing as he read it over

"Says here you disappeared from France three days ago. You come from a very rich family and your father has placed a high reward for your safe return" batman looked up at the blonde...well more specifically his scars and bruises

Bruce knew appearances in the Nobel class were always enforced so why was this so called rich boy in such a condition

"Oh so that's how long it's been well I came here on a mission"adrien said as he looked up at them, his body language hard and strong

"You came here all the way from France to ask for our help"asked nightwing, a bit confused why as they had never seen anything wrong with the country and if the boy was asking for help on something personal.. why come to them. He then remembered his first encounter with Adrien thinking that had something to do with it

But who's "us"

Adrien was silent for a moment, his mind wondering to how he was going to word his next sentence. The kwanatama around his neck almost burned into his skin reminding him exactly why he had come here

Taking a deep break the Male looked at the two his eyes saddened and almost pleading

"I came here because my country is dying. We are in the middle of a war and we have lost so much, the people are afraid and frnace has been enslaved by a monster"

The two stared at hin not quite sure how to respond to that

What could they say

Could they even beilive him? If something like that was happening wouldn't the league know of it by now? But he had come here all the way from France...for what, to play a prank on them?

No

Both males have seen many things in their lives and the look in that boys eyes showed them all the proof that they needed

"What is going on in frnace adrien?"

Ladybug stared down at the La Seine in sadness. The water was dangerously low barley even considered a small channel by this point

As time went on the team had come to realize Hawkmoth had done more then just send out akumas. His acquaintances had actually destroyed most of the ports and water supply chains throughout the city in an attempt to ensure the negitive environment stayed contained and so hawkmoth picked off whoever hs wnated to use as if they were some farm animals being prepared for the next meal. And what made it worse Ladybug wasnt able to fix all the damage done as she could only repair damage due to an akuma or damage done during an akuma fight, that's one of the main reasons why the city had gotten so bad to begin with.

It sickened her to know he had them under his thumb, with the kwmais now under his possession they were trapped and completly at his mercy.

Ladybug sighed softly as she turned her head away from the scene and headed off. Even the clouds themselves seemed to have sensed the devastation as they had coated the once bright sky in a grey abyss giving the landscape a dark broken look to it. The ground now cracked and worn down from the constant akuma fights throughout the city and the red heros was sure the negitive energy was slowly seeping through all of Europe.

As it had turned out, someone from the higher class had played and pulled with strings when it came to the news about the situation and ladybug figured that was one of the reasons why they hadn't revived any help from the outside but surely superman or somone else would have heard screams and the distress of the citizens..right?

Sighing softly the young gaudian walked through the empty streets completly alone as no one dared go outside making the city look like a complete wasteland.

Once lively and full of colors and excitement now was taken over and overshadowed by the fear and anxiety of the citizens and ladybug wasn't sure how much more of this she could take.

"Ladybug ladybug"called out a males voice catching the girls attention. Turning around she spotted one of her former teammates, even though they had been exposed they hadn't left her side

She had been worried but grateful for that.

"What is it luka"she asked as the raven haired boy stood infront of her and sighed

"The government has closed off the remaining boarders nothing is to come into the city and nothing is to go out...they have cut us off completely especially now that it has been effecting the entire country"

Ladybug let out a groan as she shook her head and looked on at the tower, a once proud, strong symbol of it's people, now it was nothing but a reminder of their turmoil.

"Let's hope that chat noir is able to get help before he comes back home to an empty city"

Nothing was said for a while as everyone in the cave awaited for something...really anything to happen

Adrien stared at the two heros infront of him as he had spent the hour just trying to word out how he would explain the war. He thought he had come prepared but now...being there with them he felt small and vulnerable.

Taking a deep breath the blonde looked up from his feet meeting the glance of both bats.

"Well for starters my name is Adrien Agreste I came here from France to ask for your help. The country is under attack by a supervillain, he was once known as Hawkmoth but then he got stronger...now he calls himself Monarch"

The two blue eyed males stayed silent listening intently to the boys claim hearing his voice and tone they both knew he was either the worlds greatest actor or the country was truly in danger

"How did he...come to be, where did he come from"asked batman looking down at the young runaway

"Well he used magic...stolen magic. There are these jewels called miraculous each one has a kwami, a small God attached to it these kwmais have shaped and created reality as we know it the strongest of them all the ladybug the God of creation, she had created every living thing in this universe possibly even further then that, and the ying to her yang, the God of destruction the miraculous of the black cat capable of destroying anything even planets and the universe" Adrien looked at the two noticing the look of both interest and shock on their faces though he couldnt blame them not everyday you were told about how the world truly came to be

After a moment nightwing spoke up"so does this Hawkmoth have these...kwmais"

"No he wants them, when the two miraculous are fused together you are granted a wish anything you truly desire you could get rich, world peace and even bring people back from the dead...but with that wish comes a huge consequence"

"What happens when they are fused "asked the bat. The blonde played with the ring around his finger something that didn't go unnoticed by the two

"Balamce has to be restored if he were to bring somone back from the dead somone else would take their place...the plague was created by a wish so were the lazourous pits that's why both have and had such disastrous consequences"

"Wait you mean to say the pits were created by gods"nightwing stammered knowing full well the dangers of the waters in those lakes

"Why have we never heard of these...powers"stated the billionaire somewhat distant to his tone

"The miraculous have been guarded and kept safe since the beginning of time before the justice league or any hero has been established we protected the earth and anywhere else the jewels were needed but we were to be kept hidden from the public the kwmais secrets, the existing of them had to be as known to as few as possible, though a few historical figures have been miraculous holders at one point or another. The miraculous created the power that holds the rings the lanterns use every source of magic every living thing trails back to the first humans that were created. They were essentially a group each one traveled over generations to different planets there they evolved to what you know now"the blonde said his tone sure and strong, assertive yet peaceful

It was completly silent now no one said a word not even the bats that hung from the ceiling made a sound as everyone seemed to prosses what had been said

"Monarach now has all but three of the miraculous only the cat, ladybug and the rabbit are free but we cannot count of the rabbit being around it's far to dangerous and if he were to get his hands on the miraculous of time again who knows what he would do. We got lucky we even managed to get that one back in the first place. Kwmais have to obey whoever has their miraculous so they have no say on how Monarch uses their power and now there is nothing left in Paris the city is in ruins and the damage is spreading throughout all of Europe. The heros have done what they can but even they are tired, exhausted and beaten down"

"How long has this been going on who are these heros"asked Nightwing sure that they could help. Besides how long could it have been...

"Its been five years...five years of this war the heros themselves have been abandoned by the only person who could help them leaving with somone who barley respects them just because he hadn't chosen them himself..because they were to young but it had already been to late the damage was done the heros already to far into the war to turn back, switching them out would have only been a liability...they were chosen with no training no idea what they were getting into no idea the scars, burdens and trauma they would face..."trembled violently Adrien hugged himself no doubt squeezing himself causing further injury to his already broken body. Nightwing grabbed onto the Male on reflex he wasnt sure if hed made things worse but he couldnt leave the boy to fall into his own darkness.

"We were children we didnt know we couldnt leave, I left her behind, I left her alone"adrien held onto nightwing suit tightly his tears streaming down his face as he cried

Said Male looked down at him in surprise by his words, looking over at his own partner he held the boy close running his gloved hand through his blonde locks

"Adrien shh it's okay everythjng will be okay can you tell me who the heros are what their names are"he asked softly continuing his movements

"...their names are ladynug and ch-chat noir they...we were only fourteen"he sobbed out as he banged his fist against the taller males chest though his attacks were completly weak and ineffective.

"....I'm chat noir and we are alone, I need your help"

Chat walked anxiously behind Nightwing. The bright lights and heros around him staring down at him either with a curious glance or judgmental stare.

After their initial conversation in the cave Batman thought it was nessessry for the young cat to join them up at the Watchtower as this issue was further then just a simple tyrant.

With the sound of whispering and murmurs around him the cats ears folded down firmly onto his head, his tail had been tucked between his legs. Looking up at the two bats he met the comforting gaze of Nightwing and so with a soft sigh and a reminder of why he had come all the way here the blond continued on now ignoring those around him. Going into the meeting room was overwhelming, all the strongest and most experienced league members were inside already though some hadn't seemed to notice them come in just yet.

"Evwryone please sit down we have some very serious problems to talk about today and a very important visitor"said Batman as he pulled out a chair for chat right at the center of rhe table. Sitting down the cat looked on at the other heros all of the staring at him in wondor.

"Please chat noir tell us why have you ome here"stated the dark knight as he sat at his own spot next to Superman.

"Oh um h-hello as Batman said I'm Chat Noir I'm a hero from Paris and um my city...my country is in danger from an evil threat"he said, his whole upfront and outgoing personality all but gone.

"What kind of threat is this if you had to come all the way here instead of calling us first"asked a red hero, Flash

"We did call, more then five years ago to be precise but we had been ignored and blocked from the call center and the villian has ancient magic that he had stolen from us"said the black cat as he had become somewhat sensitive to the reminder of being abandoned.

Their were questionable murmurs and stem looks as womdor women looked over at him, her gaze somewhat hard.

"What kind of magic had been stolen from you and what are your powers exactly"she asked in a stern tone not knowing exactly who she was talking to.

"Our villian is known as Monarch he has stolen magic jewels known as miraculous and I hold the power of destruction"he said holding his head up a bit higher.

A few of the league members gasped in shock as they immedietly bowed to the black cat, this included Womdor Woman, Dr Fate, Aquaman and even Shazam.

The blond came into slight shock as did the remaining league members who stayed seated down although Womdor Women was the one to speak

"Please forgive me for speaking out of term your majesty I did not realize you were a miraculous chosen"she said her head down almost to ashmednto look at the boy.

The other three said nothing as chat was taken a back and cleared his throat"i um it's alright no need to..to bow please get up"he blushed in embarrassment as the four did as asked gaining questionable glances from their peers especially towards the Amazon as no one had seen her bow, especially to a male.

"Wondor Woman what's going on"asked superman looking from said hero to the embarrassment male

"He holds the power of a God, in the beginning of time gods known as kwamis appeared into existence the first being the kwami of creation, she created every living thing, every world and every star, after her came the God of destruction her counterpart capable of escalating anything and anyone in a matter of moments, it's because of these gods we live in the world we do today, they created the Greek gods as they were miraculous holders giving Shazam his power, Dr Fate was their ward tasked with maintaining order in the universe in their absence, they had been used in Atlantis causing its destruction and my own mother had used them with her partner telling stories of their power and influence in the universe "stated the girl causing those around her to become silent as they now knew they stood before a God and knew even more just how serious this problem truly was if gods had been fighting for the past five years. After a moment they turned to the cat as he played with his tail, his nerves skyrocketing

Green arrow was the first to speak and what came out wasnt wise to say around those who respected the boy"bht look at him hes scrawny, small and a child how can someone so pathetic have powers that could turn superman into space dust"

"Mind your tongue green arrow you are in the presence of the chosen of disfrucyion and you will freat him with fhe upmost respect"spat Dr Fate as he sent the man a harsh glare clearly showing who's side he was on. Chat whispered slightly clearly not liking emotional conflict though none could blame him as he was used to emotional outbursts leading to powerful akumas.

"Everyone settle down this is no way to solve this issue now please chat noir tell us what happened"said shazam as said blond stood up

"I can do more then tell, I have already told batman the situation in Europe but I do have videos and recordings of akuma attacks"

"Akuma attacks?" Asked superman as a chat nodded

"Monarch has stolen all but three of the miraculous that being creation, destruction and evolution, he mostly uses the power of transmission feasting and praying on people's negitive emotions then turning them into supervillains to fight for him they have also been paired off with an amok a sort of additional weapon they use when they ste being controlled we call them sentimonsters using emotions to create them but now they he has many of the miraculous he has been fusing with them along with transfering their power to his victims, even when we defeat the akuma the power goes back to monarch so we save not been able to save any of the other kwmais" chat grabbed his baton and slid a hard drive into the computer revealing many videos of different akuma attacks each in a gruesome battle, many had been hurt and others killed. The heros themselves had been seen covored in blood, pushing dead bodies away to get through from crowded streets and underwater arenas. Each video leaving league members visibly sick

"So hes been creating superpowered supervillains, I've heard rumors of Paris being cut off from the rest of eurpoe but I never imagined it would be because of this how come we were never told about this or even heard anything "said superman

"I'm not sure why news had been scares all I know is that someone from the league had ignored our distress calls, ladybug, my partner has the power to reverse everything back to it's original state but that doesn't erase the trauma we have all insured, as for why you didn't hear it I would assume uts because your vulnerable to magic so maybe it was blocked somehow"

"How far have you reached in ypur power"asked Wondor woman as chat thought about it for a second

"I'm able to use my power on anything I touch and have been able to stay transformed for long periods of time"he said

"You should be able to do a lot more then that"

"You should have been able to unlock more powers by then, if this is as common as I assume you should have recived a new power or two in these past couple years"

Chat blinked and stared at her as Aquaman nodded "have you recived tour kwanatama yet "

"Yes I have I hot it about a year ago"he said as he showed the small ying shaped jewel around his neck

"That means your kwami has accepted you as its chosen and you will now have access to many different powers"

Chat blinked and tikted his head, he knew he would get new powers but he thought it was due to time not because the miraculous nessessrily allowed it to happen

"We will help you with this battle but before then you will need proper training"said Shazam as the other league members nodded in agreement

The blond looked at them snd blinked "but training will take who knows how lomg and I cany leave Ladybug to continue to fight alone"

"Only a miraculous holder can take on another miraculous holder and if you plan to have any sort of chance against this monarch you'll have to be prepared, clearly you have been using pure luck to get to this point but now that changes, we will find out who is responsible for causing this overdue meeting while you stay here and train properly that is our condition "said Womdor woman as she crossed her arms

Sighing softly the cat begrudgingly agreed to their request, the sooner he got this done the sooner he could get back to ladybug

Looking out at the sky chat felt more homesick then ever before. He had been stuck in the Justice League headquarters for quite some time, the other heros have clearly stated he needed proper training for a war of this size as wondor woman and aquaman have insisted he would do intense training with them believing he needed to unlock new powers before he could step back in Paris.

Chat was very apprehensive to stay away from Europe for this long more with leaving ladybug alone but he was intrusted with the knowledge of some of the league members have checked in on Paris, according to their reports the city has been all but abandoned by the country but nothing of war has transpired in the recent weeks since his departure giving chat tine for proper training as wondor woman was looking forward to training with ladybug but that couldnt happen until later after the war as the two couldnt afford to leave the city alone with it being so unstable so they has to wait

But as aquaman stated before ladybug already had new powers as chat noir was long overdue for his own upgrades he was also not pleased to hear about the treatment the two young ones had when it came to the previous gaudian.

That in on itself was an interesting story to tell wondor woman and the others so now with a sigh the black cat left his quarters and headed to the training room for another day of scolding from aquaman and tough lessons from wondor woman.

A grunt and groan was all that came out from the blondes mouth, another cracked wall another failed attempt to overcome his opponents. He had been at this for hours trying to keep his focus but how could he when all that came to mind was his home, his partner, his fmaily.

With another pain filled whimper chat slowly rose to his feet again but that in on itself didn't last long as he was beaten back down to the ground, auqaman's leg pressing down roughly against his spine.

"Your not in control of yourself child, you are allowing your emotions to cloud your judgment I'm honnestly shocked of how appaling your performance is"said the king as he stared down at the young hero, though author didnt like treating the boy in such a way he knew he had to push him for that was the only way he would learn

"Your undisciplined, your previous gaudian spoiled you, let you have free reign of your power with no concern of how dangerous you truly are"he smirked then got off him allowing the cat to finally stand, well crawl was the word aquaman would use for him at the moment

"You know the distruction you have caused throughout the centuries, the dinosaurs, leaning tower of Piza, Atlantis, you were even the one who split the universe into different planets. You have been  many different beings throughout the univeeses time even gave the lanterns their power though we both know what that did to youd body, the plagues began right after then spread throughout the universe"

Chat looked up ay him his eyes hard as he knew his past lives hadn't been the best for his image. He was a god, the one true holder of the black cat miraculous and with that honor came responsibility. It was his duty to be sure chaos was foreseen and handled correctly though even he would agree he remebered little to nothing about his past and over the time he had been in the care of the justice league he had learned more about himself then he could have ever imagined.

A true holder

One of two great beings the other being ladybug, their responsibility was to ensure the survival of the universe, ensuring that balance and harmony are upheld within their laws and protocols as those who defied it would be subjected to a great punishment. Adrien has even heard of certain villians who have played with that balance and he knew he and ladybug would be having words with one Ra's al Ghul and the hidden lazurous pit he kept deep in his chambers. Those pits had meant to be destroyed centeried ago, plagg had told him how the pits were created by a wish, a munk wished for his family to be brought back from the dead and wherever they were laid a pit was erupted from the earth, but it came at a consequence as did everything else. The monks family was revived into insanity as their souls have already passed onto the next life leaving nothing behind but a husk of their former selves. The order of gaudians had interfered by that point punishing the monk for his crime and having the pits destroyed but as always bad luck followed the cat and so he missed a pit leaving it for anyone to claim and misuse once again. Only a ture holder could restore balance in the universe and only a true holder could fix the damage caused by a miraculous or any sort of magic so as Adrien stood off the ground again he stared the king in the eyes, his long tail flicking behind him as he got into position to fight once again.

"I want to become stronger I want to be worth something"he spoke as the kind nodded the two then lunged at eachother baton banging against another the two blondes kicking and hitting until one would fall but neither was willing to give up

Adrien panted slightly, his eyes dilated severely as his cat ears flicked around, the memories of his destroyed home fueling his every move,

Chats eyes snapped open as the ground shook, cracks in the surface surrounded him as they ran up the walls and onto the ceiling

Bruce sighed softly as he rubbed his etes in frustration. After the young cat was taken into training Bruce and dick have spent time searching for anything to do with the miraculous and who exactly ledt the heros abandoned in Paris. If the boy hadnt come to them in person even he wouldnt have beilived the claims of the dangerous city as all they have been able to find was that the mayor was being watched but no one knew exactly from who or for what reason though the man beilived it had something to do with the miraculous and judging by the fact there was plenty of tourism still he assumed it was foe the money and image aspect though those people would be surley shocked to know they were going to a wasteland.

To this Bruce felt strange as even if the league was to blame for the misfortune of Paris why couldnt he find anything to do with the villians it was almost as if...

With a jolt of realization Bruce stood up from his seat, looking over to dick who was going through papers he has found on Adrien.

"Dick I think I have an idea why we havent been able to find anything but I will need your intel"

Looking over at the older man dick walked back "I also have some news not sure if it helps much but according to these records adriens mother dissapeared five years ago on Christmas eve his father then put his son into modeling and a whole bunch of other things not even a week later, but the weirdest part about it is that she was only considered missing the search ended soon after she dissapeared"

Bruce hummed softly as he riased an eyebrow"were there any leads"

"No iys just as if she vanished, according to adriens interview she put him to bed on Christmas eve but by morning she was just gone, according to sources and gabriel himself Adrien meant the world to his mother why would she pack up and leave abandoning her twelve year old child then theres what happened after and how adriens personality changed around his father, he became quieter and obedient after she was gone...Bruce something is going on with that family and judging by adriens body condition I dont think hes losing that much weight from jumping around on buildings"

Bruce nodded and sighed softly as he sat down in his chair"something is going on in Paris it seems somone is holding back on the media I cang even look up pictures of the two not even a media name shows up , whoever is trying to hide this is doing a great job at it some people have even been forced to sign contracts but again it hasnt said for what"

Dick nodded as he leaned back on the wall "mmm a government official may be involved, according to Adrien the European government has been leaving them in the dust for quite some time, he also said shadowmoth has allies so maybe that has something to do with it, isolate the heros from any help they could get so they break down easier and faster"

Brufe nodded and sighed softly",somone in ths league cut off their distress call maybe they are using that to push on with isolating themselves so people dont feel like they can contact us, those kids have been left on their own most certainly by people who were menag to protect them but all it's done is add even more trauma and burdens onto them"

"I'll ask Barbra if she can hack into some of the media and servalnace in Paris along with who has been in contact with anyone from there in the last five years"said dick as he looked at him

"We wont fail them this time"

Adrien looked out the window of his current bedroom, the weight of his training and stress slowly coming up onto him. The blonde had spent the last week training and controlling his new power but each time he had thought he was closer he lost control and shattered everything around him.

The league have told him he would get there, he would always get there with practice and time but now he was tired of practice and he was running out of time.

Things in Paris haven't changed as much, though shadowmoth continued to destroy the city their wasn't really much left to destroy.

League members have been talking, he's heard them even from his living quarters, they have commented how the situation has come and how he hasn't been ready for battle yet. His age was something that was always brought up and now the news that Adrien Agreste was missing from Paris has reached worldwide media.

Some said he ran away, others said he had been kidnapped but frankly the blonde was to tired to really care what people thought

All his hero life chat has constantly heard how others ridiculed him for being a child in a war meant for adults, even the Justice League themselves believed they should intervene and maybe...maybe they were right.

Tears came down the blondes cheeks as he curled up under the safety off his blanket, but even that gave little warmth and comfort to his aching and sore body

"I am not a child now I can take care of myself" said the boy as he remembered all the battles and fights he had been in over the past couple years.

"I mustn't let them down now, I'm fine" remembering the cure of ladybugs magic Adrien sobbed softlg

"I'm fine"

Plagg came over to his chosen as he sat on his shoulder"kid hey listen to me everything will be okay you have to have faith in yourself"

"I'm to tired to listen, I'm to old to beilive all these childish stories" Adrien snapped back, his whole demeanor had changed ever since fu had left them

"There is no such thing as faith, trust or pixie dust" he said and sat up on the bed

Plagg looked at him softly"you have to keep going you'll complete your training here then you'll go back to Paris and kick shadowmoth where it hurts"

"I try but it's so hard to beilive, I try but I cant see what you see" Adrien argued back. He was lost and tired, sometimes he felt that it would have been best to give the ring to another person

Remembering when the war had barley begun, it seemed like such a short time ago, the team had all but forgotten how much time it had been.

"My whole world is changing, I dont know where to turn" getting up the blonde walked up to his small mirror the image of his eyes reflecting as the tower and city fell, remembering how he left ladybug behin

"I can't leave you waiting, but I cant stay and watch the city hurn... watch it hurn" he whispered, a tear rolling down his cheek

Plagg frowned, knowing full well the weight his chosen had been carrying this entire time"adrien you have to go back to the arena you have to try and fight"

"Cause I try but it's so hard to beilive" Adrien looked back at him his eyes downcast and empty

"I try but I can't see what you see I try I try"

" plagg I try and try to understand the distance in between the love I feel" Adrien remembered the feeling of his mothers warm hugs, nightwing hugs had been nice to as he remembered how protected and safe he felt in his hugs

"And the things I fear"  he also remembered shadowmotgs constant threats, he remembered the moment his mother was confermed to have been missing and he remembered gis father

"And every single dream" oh how he dreamed of the day when shadowmoth would be defeated and the day his father would praise him...love him

Plagg looked at the boy then perked his ears up"come with me kid"he said as he flew over to the door "I wnat you to see something

Adrien blinked and stared at the God but never the less did as asked and transformed. Going outside his quarters he was able to hear voices and conversations

"We have to try harder look harder"

"Train harder we have to be prepared for this fight"

"He needs us, he came all the way here to ask for help we cant let chat or Paris down now"

Chats eyes widened as he walked over to the training room, manh of the heros had been in pairs or groups clashing their weapons or going into combat with their magic, looking over to the meeting room the older heros were looking through computers and holograms of the battle, completely focused on finding any sort of information they could on shadowmoth.

The cat was taken a back, he didnt think the league would try this hard to help them as he assumed they would train him up then send him on his marry way but he had been proven wrong. With a smile on his face chat finally felt hope, finally felt like they had a chance to win

"I can finally see it, now I have to beilive all those presious stories" he smiled softly remembering how his mother had told him stories about heros such as Bateman, Superman, and even Wondor Woman

"All the world is made of faifh, and trust and pixie dust"

Smiling proudly chat headed back to the arena and smirked at nightwing as he passed by, gling over to Aquaman he nodded at him and focused his power

Feeling the area around him shake, chat smiled as the cracks stayed within his own space then he focused on the target of his attack, today it was a dummy and with one final push of willpower chat destroyed the object watching as it crumbled to dust six feet away from him. Clapping was heard as everyone smiled at him in pride. Nightwing came over and riffled his hair as he smirked down at him

Chat knew plagg could hear his thoughts and smiled happily

"So I'll try cause I finally beilive, I'll try cause I can see what you see"

Chat went to his next target and smirked sending an aurua of dark energy towards it breaking it into peices

Now chat knew for sure he could win and he would win, he would bring victory to his home, bring victory to those who have suffered

He spent the next couple hours in that arena training and fighting anyone who challenged him becoming stronger in his abilities and strength as he now knew victory will be coming soon

Ladybug looked on at the city, the dark clouds hung above the city like an umbrella of depression and frankly everyone was being effected by its presence.

The last few weeks havent been easy since her beloved partner had left. Not a day went by that she looked out into the horizon wishing she could hear his stupid puns again as he flew back to her.

Su han had managed to keep the destruction of shadowmoth in Frnace so none of the nearby countries have had the misfortune of dealing with the terrorist but that didnt mean they haven't had any close calls

For the past few weeks most of the French population had hid in their homes becoming numb and empty to any sort of emotion, even the birth of children rendered their parents to as little as a smile once they had laid their eyes on them.

Ladybug knew the young children who have been raised in this decaying environment have suffered the most as they have been ripped away of the important childhood memories and emotions needed for them to grow into strong brave individuals, yes it would take a lot for everyone to recover from this dark time if they even recovered at all

But right now wasn't the time to have daunts, ladybug knew chat would come back to them in triumph he always managed to pull through in everything he did so until then the people would do as they have always been doing for their hero's and continue to give shadowmoth as little attention as they could giving him less akumas to control

But with little victims to control it became easier for ladybug to see who had been a willing accomplice in shadowmoths reign. As time went on the adults around her have been acting strangely most of them being from the upper class and obviously Lila herself.

Lila had become a bigger problem as of recent, with Adrien now "missing" she has put it in peoples heads that Adrien had been kidnapped by marionette as she was mad that "her" boyfriend had rejected the raven haired female and she grew jeleous of Lila as she always had been. Marionettes friends had stopped talking to her apart from Luka,kagami and Zoe as they knew exactly what had happened to Adrien. Luckily for Marietta even when she was questioned about the blondes whereabouts no one actually found any proof she had anything to do with the blondes disappearance but Gabriel himself was growing increasingly frustrated with the search of his son as some news reports have begun to dig at Gabriel and how Adrien had been treated and his sudden disappearance had begun to stir questions for the brand and family some people even comparing it to the disappearance of Emile agreste more then six years ago.

But now that Adrien was with the league marionette was able to actually watch Gabriel and who he was interacting with. Apart from Lila Gabriel mostly talked to kagami and Zoe's mothers something the bug had found strange.

Last she has heard about madammezelle Tsurugi was when the two had realized their children were not interested in each other, frankly at that point marionette and Adrien had been seeing each other quite frequently and kagami had said she was interested in another and so as fate would have it both adults were discouraged and appalled that their arranged marriage had fallen flat though who does entertain the idea of arranged marriages now a days was beyond marionettes understanding

Her and Adrien have had long discussions about his father and about Adrien himself,what had led to the reveal of ladybug and chat noir and how they would have moved forward but marinette wished for the sake of Adrien that her assumption was incorrect or that he somehow wasn't Gabriel's agrestes son after all and was instead adopted

Adrien sat on the roof of the hall of justice, his body sore and somewhat built up from the frequent training he had been apart of. For the past few weeks he has been training with different heros though Aquaman was his main teacher and sparing partner.

But as he has spent more time away from the battle he had been able to think more and more about things going on in his life. Hawkmoth and his father were huge thoughts in his mind especially his father. Things sure have changed since his mother had disappeared, the world around him had been all but new. Each day he would go out for a modeling session, for school, for an akuma and something new would come across his path so as the curious kitten that he was he would always want to explore, be free and be wild from all the expectations from those around him

"Whats..what's going on"he asked as plagg came over and sat on his shoulder ready to comfort him no matter what would have come up

"Adrien...we need to talk"said nightwing as he stepped up to the younger hero. Adrien liked nightwing a lot almost saw him as an older brother maybe that's why the others made him talk first

Nightwing looked down at the boy his throat choked up as his hands clamped up"um well you know how we have been...researching possible suspects for monarch and why we havent been able to get little to no information on the akumas and the war"

Adrien nodded slowly as he perked up a bit"have you been able to find anything"

Nightwing gulped slightly as he rubbed his arm"yes...yes we have, it took us a while to get into the data frames of the Parisian government especially when we found out it was being heavily monitored by the European government as a whole so we had to be hyper vigilant with what we have been doing"

Nightwing looked over at batman who stepped up, in his hands was a stack of papers. He handed them over to the blonde as Adrien blinked and looked at them

"The government has been hiding abd putting out information from any distress calls that have been accuring in Paris, they also have forced tourists to sign paperwork forbidding them from speaking about Whag they have seen or witnessed while in travel after that they all but cut any contact of traveling to and from Paris and it boarders from pretty much anywhere staying that the airports have been shut down due to a terrorism attack by unknown countries completly covering up the whole fact that magic and a supervillain was involved, they have even been trying to cut cellar and visual communications so not even satilites could geg a look of paris"

Adrien was completly silent, both reading and listening to everything batman has just told him...complete isolation, complete abandonment, this would also be an explanation as to why nothing could even get through to the outside world to begin with...everything was hevaily monitored and with the miraculous itself... why superman didnt comment their rescue...

"Superman is vulnerable to magic and if the miraculous dojt wnat to be found they have the power to hide themselves from an outside threat, this is also why we cannot figure out eachothers identies as well. Monarch made it even easiler for Paris to become isolated superman or any of the others could never know of any danger in Paris magic or not"he stated as the other four nodded in agreement

"We have looked into our call lovs from every part of the justice league spanning back years we have only gotten reports of earthquakes and storms coming from there but they were labeled as non threstening... this was about a year after you and ladynug came out"said aquaman as he looked fown at his student

"But why would they do this we were kids..well we are kids we had no training no nothing I literlaly picked up a cane for an old man and my partner saved him from getting hit by a car then not even six months later he abandons us in the middle of battle this causing even more conflict between us and the team who even labeled those distress calls anyways" the blonde stated pacing around in distress and panic

"We beilive that the government wnated you and your team to handle the war on your own so when it ended they could pretty much flaunt you around to every other country saying how their perfect teenage heros handled a mega-terrorist without the help of the justice legaue but they didnt care about the stress and PTSD it would bring to you giys as a result" wondor woman explained

Adrien groaned as he pulled on his hair and looked at them"what else os there"

"Well...judging by our sources we found out that it was green lantern who first labeled the distress calls we do not know yet if he just didnt think they were important to have the legaue check or he simply didnt find anything worng, he is currently off planet on a mission and wont be back for at least another week but we have sent him a message to come at the soonest time for qustioning"

Adrien nodded slowly his anger slowly rising but for now he knew he had to remain calm, their wasnt a point in lashing out at the moment

"Thsts is also one other thing"said nightwing

"What else could make this worse"he mumbled

"We beilive we have found the identity of monarch "he responded causing the blonde to blink

"What...how"

"We cross examined possible leads wr have recived from you along with a radius of the area where the attacks were frequent and possible people who fit the general description of monarch and then crossed that with who monarch generally could work with and people who were willing participants of akumas...and we have found out his identity "

"Who is it"he asked

"Its...its gabriel agreste"

Adrien was silent, completely silent. His world just stopped as they glass broke behind him, every memory with his father flashed before him every simple moment

"Its not true"adiren walked up to dick his eyes watering and scared

Nightwing looked down handing Adrien the last peice of paper, looking down at it clear as dat was all evidence both in written and servalance pictures all leading to his father

Why couldnt it be like old days, days when he watched superman fly on TV, green arrow giving a speech somewhere, batman jumping from one building to the next followed by the Robin's

Is this what it was being a hero, to never know who your enemy truly was to always have to be on gaurd even from those around you. He was excited to wear the cat ring wanting nothing then to be free to help people to be like..to be like superman but now all he wanted was to go back and change it all be that small lonely child who was ignorant to the world around him

"Chat noir seems your reflexes are getting to adaquit levels still need training with stance its abysmal"he scoffed as said cat turned away from him as he went back to looking back at the sky

"What do you want shouldnt you be out gallivanting with superboy"

"First of all I do not gallivant second I came to...to see if you were..alright"he responded standing next to the blonde

"You wanted to see if I'm alright has the great Robin gone soft"he smirked at him

The raven haired Male scoffed as he turned away

"Do not think of yourself as anything special I simply didnt want to see you sulking around the place like an idiot"

Adrien looked over at the Male in slight shock, his entire hero journey flashing behind his memory like a slide show, every single battle every single person from those who yelled and blamed him to those who smiled up at him grateful for his protection

"Sometimes what's left behind can grow better then the generation before"damien pulled out a small picture from his pocket handing it over to the blonde

Adrien looked down at it as it showed a younger Robin surrounded by a small group of children, he had saved them from an attack from the joker and was able to reunite them with their families

With a smile chat looked over to the other hero then let out a smirk"yeah come on I've been itching to get a sparring match with you for a while besides we have training to do if we want to stop monatch"getting up chat pounced at the other as the two tumbled around the grass then went after eachother in a game of chase but it was more then that, playing was a form of training after all and wanted to be sure he was prepared to face his father

He would not let ladybug down he would come home a hero that's for sure
