Barty gave him a half smile. Evan had always liked that particular smile. Barty’s left side of his mouth would smile and show teeth, it was lopsided and odd but Evan had only ever seen Barty smile like that when he was happy. Barty walked past him, gently punching at his shoulder as he passed before he unlocked the door and left Evan there still in his underwear. He was alone and confused but he shook his head and determined that while the hookup had been good, he needed to ignore it.
