They'd successfully gotten into Crowley's apartment building. That was simply step one of the plan. Peter had all the bags of snack as the strongest of them all, and he also had the alcohol in those bags. While Peter wasn't old enough to drink and didn't want too, both Rose and Crowley were old enough and did want to. Percy wasn't interested in getting drunk which they respected.
The three of them looked at each other, and then the door.
"I mean," Peter started, "they know we're coming." Rose nodded. Percy shrugged, they had all three bracelets on. That seemed to be the most common for her.
"Do we all knock then?" Percy suggested. Rose shrugged and knocked both fists against the door in quick succession. Peter joined in, using his own rhythm he seemed to be making up on the spot, it almost sounded like an indie band's drum beat. Percy laughed slightly but stated knocking too, using just one fist and going as fast as he could. It couldn't have been very fun for the demon on the other side to hear, but it was fun for them.
The door flung open and the three stepped back, all grinning at the demon that was glaring at them. Normally the yellow snake eyes peaking over the sunglasses would be intimidating, but the four were close friends and they'd all seen Crowley drunk so they weren't scared of him anymore.
"What do you want?" she asked, practically hissing at them.
"Movie night," Percy said simply, pushing past them and making herself at home in the apartment. Crowley hissed at them all.
"Yeah whatever, you agreed to a movie marathon with us," Rose said, also shoving past. Crowley huffed but stepped out of the way for Peter who happily followed Rose inside.
The three crowded together on a sofa, and Crowley dropped onto an armchair. His furniture wasn't the best, and he'd helped all three of his friend get their own places do he knew they had nicer set ups. But for some reason his apartment had become the designated movie marathon spot.
Maybe it was because he was the designated adult of the group even if none of them were really responsible adults. Or maybe it was just bad luck. More likely it was his larger TV. Crowley didn't know and he didn't really care.
Peter started unpacking his backpack, starting with the wine for Crowley. Crowley was happy to take a bottle and miracled a wineglass into his hand. They waved her hand in the direction of the tv and set it up to play the movies they'd all picked out.
Percy cheered as one of her movies came on first. They'd each picked two movies, and it was guaranteed that they all (excluding Crowley) would fall asleep at some point. It was another one of their friend dates, and really none of them could complain. It certainly seemed like fun.
Peter laid out the snacks on the table as Crowley poured himself some wine into a glass. The glass was just so he seemed more put together. Rose had already grabbed a bottle for herself and was taking the occasional sip.
They all had to admit it was nice. Existing together despite the impossibility of it. Watching movies and eating snacks together despite it all. They all liked it. Even if Crowley would be the last one to admit to it.
