As you exit the stadium Kinich is surprisingly the first one of your new friends to wave you over. you and Paimon give a wave back as you approach. “Hey Kinich!” Paimon exclaims. “I’m surprised to see you here so soon! Paimon thought you’d still have things to do. As a name-barer and all.”
“Well actually-“ Ajaw appears suddenly from behind the both of you. “He wanted to get here to ask you out before Mulini had the chance!!” Interjecting with his usual smug.
You and Paimon are taken aback by the bluntness.
“What do you mean ‘ask us out’?” Paimon tiles her head in confusion “Like on a date?”
Kinich gives you a look of ‘is she like this a lot?’ You can’t help but sigh in responce.
Ignoring Ajaw’s interjection and throwing him away, Kinich continues. “There wasn’t anything left for me to do, since I didn’t qualify for individual matches. But Ajaw is right. I wanted to talk to you before Muliani could.”
“Oh okay” Paimon says to herself
”Would you like to come to my tribe with me? It will take a while before we hear the pilgrimage results and I’d like to show you both around.” Kinich slightly tilting his head to the side, face unchanged, with an outstretched hand.
“Oh, we’d love to travel with you to the canopy!” Paimon expresses while doing her little happy wiggle. You can’t help but smile at how cute she gets when she’s excited.
“Wow, straight to the point as always, huh Kinich.“ A cheery voice says from behind you.
You turn around to see none other than- “It’s Mualani!!” Paimon rushes over to her. “Paimon was wondering where you went!” The people of the spring girl put a hand out and on her hips looking as cheerful as ever.
“I was with Kachina making sure she was okay before entering the night kingdom.”
Paimon nods “That’s understandable”
She looks over at Kinich now putting both hands on her hips with an exasperated expression. “I can't believe you beat me at asking them to the hot springs!” She puts her hands up and out to her side shrugging in defeat. “Well… there’s always next time, you all have fun!
She leans in close to you to whisper. “Make sure to go bungee jumping you’ll see a totally different side of Kinich.” She gives you a wink before stepping back.
“Catch you later, dudes!” She turns around riding away on her sharky board.
You turn your focus back to Kinich to see him still gazing in the direction that Muluani left. Ajaw reappears “Well then, she took that better than I expected.” Kinich looks over “woooow… You can be nice.” Ajaw turns angry, zipping around like an annoying little red mosquito, yelling “The Great Kajool Ajaw wasn’t giving her a compliment.” Turning back to his green self, He crosses those tiny arms dramatically looking away from Kinich. “He’s just surprised how little drama she made out of it!
Ignoring Ajaw’s ranting, Kinich looks back over at You and Paimon. “I have a couple things to take care of before I can show you around so, I’ll meet you both there.” You both nod. “Paimon understands! We’ll see you soon.” Kinich nods back with a slight smile before using his grappling hook to swing away.
