Inui seemed to snap out of whatever he was thinking about and then shrugged casually. “I like showing up at unexpected places.” That was vague. It made Koko want to press a little harder, but he worried doing so might irritate Inui. He was already acting a little weird. “Plus, maybe I missed you.”
Koko laughed, a grin forming on his face. “I brought you coffee to the shop this morning.” He teased. He thought it was kind of cute, in a way, that even after all of this time, Inui didn’t really get sick of him. He got sick of himself all of the time, but Inui always wanted his attention. It helped, in a way, he thought. It made Koko feel a little more like a person whenever he felt less than.
