Tim and Lucy had gotten back to the station and they were working on a case where 5 jewelry stores had been robbed and they had been speaking to a number of people at the store and got told it was at least 1 male and 1 female but they didn't know much apart from that.
Tim had asked Officer Nolan to help out and he had already found some information on the robbers.
Hey Nolan, do you have anything yet? Lucy asks.
I do. The stores that were all hit are in a 3 block radius from each other and it seem that these robbers are going in some sort of order, Nolan says
So what we need to do is stake out the next possible jewelry store? Tim asks
Good thinking, Nolan says
Well I'm sure with me,Tim, you and Harper we can cover the possible exits, Lucy said
I'll message Nyla now and let her know the game plan, Nolan said
Nolan gets his phone out and he texts his wife and tells her what's happening and she texts back saying they are not letting Tim and Lucy handle it by themselves.
Nolan and Nyla have been together for a few years now and John has been a police officer for at least 15 years and he sees Tim as a son and he is always worried about him.
Tim and Nolan act like father and son and everyone at the station knows it and when Tim got shot that's when Nolan worried more but he told Tim he was moving into his house to recover and Tim knew not to argue.
Tim and Lucy changed into street clothes and after they got changed they went to the location of the next store. Tim felt like someone was looking at him. Tim looked around but didn’t see anyone. He kept looking but couldn’t find anything.
Lucy asked is everything okay? Tim said yeah it just feels like someone is looking at us or just me. Lucy said yeah I know the feeling. Tim was about to ask Lucy if she was getting that feeling right now but two men came up behind them and put guns to their heads and told both Lucy and Tim to empty out their pockets and leave their guns on the grounds.
Tim and Lucy did that and the two men said now come with us. The two men move along with Lucy and Tim. They got them into the van. Then they left to go to a building where no one was there.
John called and texted Lucy and Tim but they were not answering their phones. So John and Nyla went to the spot where Tim and Lucy were. John went to pick up their stuff but Nyla stopped him. John asked why? Nyla said because we need to call this in.
John said okay. John called Grey and told him what is going on. Grey said okay I will call in S.W.A.T. John said I want to help them find them. Grey said I will see what I can do.
John said okay thank you. Grey said you are welcome. Grey said get back here. John said okay. Grey ask are you going to tell Henry what is going on. John said not yet.
Grey asked why? John said we don’t know what happened yet. Grey said okay. Grey said goodbye. John said goodbye.
John and Nyla got back to the station and they went straight up to Grey and he told them he already has cops searching the streets and talking to their informants plus they have got forensics doing their jobs and John is less worried but he is still hoping that Tim is OK.
