   Summary

   Eugene calls him the next night and waits while Yasper asks his mother if he can have a friend spend the night on Saturday. She says yes. Then, when Yasper sees Aniq on Thursday, Aniq also floats the idea of hanging out on Saturday. Yasper has to explain that he’s already got plans with Eugene. “Really?” Aniq says. “Why?”

   Yasper doesn’t know how to answer. Why does he like Eugene? He’s not sure he does. Except he must like him, otherwise why would he have invited him over?
