Strangely, there's nobody else around

As soon as one of Denki's cold hands touched his arm, he flinched away before relaxing again. The blond wrapped his arms around his bicep, knees going up to his chest as he only got closer to Hitoshi.

Hitoshi knew the blond got cold and he should've put some sweatpants on him instead of leaving the poor man in just his boxers and one of his T-shirts, though maybe it was all just his master plan to end up in this position, snuggled up close and Denki clinging onto him like a leech for warmth.

It was night as Hitoshi laid upon his bed; hair still wet from the shower he had to take regardless of the difficulty of it. He stared up at the ceiling with tired eyes. The blond next to him had snuggled up close to him, wet hair leaving the pillow damp as quiet little snores escaped his mouth.

Hitoshi felt tired with his muscles feeling achy after the night the two shared. It wasn't the first time, and Hitoshi knew it wouldn't be the last. His apartment didn't look all that great or worth showing off. Being a villain left him with few options at a place to stay, though being a villain is what troubled him.

The blond next to him was a flashy pro hero, giving smiles and protecting those around. It was truly something to admire. His quirk was strong and helped with multiple issues around, while Hitoshi was a villain. He had no flashy quirk and hardly ever smiled. When people saw him, they'd feel fear instead of relief, and Hitoshi questioned how the two became like this. Cuddled up with each other after a night filled with passion that should never be shared with a villain and hero.

How it started, well, Hitoshi thought of the memory often. Blood was everywhere in that alleyway he often walked through to get to his apartment. He should've walked away, but he couldn't get himself to when seeing the famous ChargeBolt beaten, bloody and bruised.

Hitoshi would never claim himself as a strong man considering he did such a thing, but he held no regret towards his action. The blond probably thought he was just going to finish the job but that never happened. Hitoshi thought pros would come stroming through his door once the hero left but that ever happened either.

What did happen, well, he could hardly believe it either when he thought back to the memory. The pro hero, out of uniform and holding two cups of coffee as if they were old friends.

After that, they slowly became each other's safe space, and in that time, Hitoshi realized that heroes didn't have it all that easy. Denki Kaminari was just as fucked in this life as he was.

And somehow, it turned into this.

It was a weird arrangement between the two. During the day they were complete opposites. One saving and the other threatening lives while during the night you could consider them loversThey took care of each other, kissed each other, hugged each other, they've bathed together, laid together, cried together, and something about it just felt right.

Hitoshi sighed, glancing at the blond. He was falling asleep even in the shower, making Hitoshi do more work. The hero's neck, shoulders, and collarbones were decorated with marks he left. He knew Denki would end up complaining at how he couldn't cover them all up to well, and he wouldn't do much to help, only leaving a sarcastic remark at most.

He went back to admire the ceiling and wondered if it'd fall with the way it creaked. Hitoshi shook the thought. He should've been asleep by now, especially with how dark and heavy his eyebags were. Hitoshi wasn't sure who to balm for him still being awake, Denki? The shower? Or maybe all of the coffee and energy drinks he's consumed was finally working after all these years.

Even if the ceiling truly was a thing of bumpy and cracked glory, Hitoshi felt his eyes go over to where they could look over at Denki, admiring every little detail of his face. He's admired every inch of his body, traced his fingers along the scars that were caused by his own quirk. Even if the blond wished they weren't everywhere on his body, all Hitoshi could see was pure beauty in each and every Lichtenberg figure that was on his body.

He moved to lay on his side instead of his back so he could lay comfortably while looking at the man next to him. He moved a strand of the electric yellow hair and tucked it behind his ear so he wouldn't eat his hair in his sleep. He placed a soft kiss on the others forehead, looking at Denki with such soft eyes that were filled with so much love and admiration it seemed out of character of him.

Denki shifted slightly where he laid, eyes hardly opening before he just closed them again. "You're still awake?" Hitoshi heard him ask him, tone so tired and quiet it made a small smile tug at his lips. "I hardly ever sleep Denks." He told him and watched a small pout come to the blonds lips.

Denki moved and wrapped his arms around his bare torso, maybe trying to gain more warmth or just doing so to be close to him. Either way, Hitoshi didn't mind. "Go back to sleep you leech." Hitoshi told him, narrowing his eyes down at him as if the others clinginess bothered him. "You're awake." He mumbled back, making Hitoshi roll his eyes fondly.

"Yes, and so you've seen. Goodnight." After that, Hitoshi had thought the blond just fell asleep with how tired he still was considering he wasn't asleep for too long, but then he spoke again. "What's for breakfast?" The question wasn't surprising to hear from Denki, but he still sighed regardless.

"Whatever you want it to be, ok? Just go back to sleep and when you wake up breakfast will be waiting for you." Hitoshi tells him, encouraging him to go back to sleep as he kissed the top of his head. Denki nodded, leaving a kiss on his chest where his face was buried in which brought back Hitoshi's soft smile.

Any moments like this made Hitoshi feel like he was just a normal human. He didn't have a quirk, he wasn't a villain, he didn't have to deal with his mother's drug addiction as a kid or hurt and steal to give himself some kind of high or thrill in life. No, none of those things were happening or had happened with moments like these.

He wrapped his owns arms around Denki and held him close, keeping contact close. Hitoshi knew in the long run of doing this game of pretending things were fine would lead Denki in trouble and him behind bars one day.

People like him don't get good karma like people similar to Denki do. People like him get bad karma that'll bite him in the ass one way or another because that's just how it worked. He'd be a fool to think everything would turn out alright if they just kept this up.

Breathing in, he sighed out, putting a hand in blond locks as he began to rub the others head. It was a way to fidget while also soothing Denki who hummed comfortably at the touch of affection.

Hitoshi kept himself calm regardless of the thoughts. His mind ran in frantic circles, but his face stayed calm even if he knew Denki wouldn't open his eyes to look up at him with how comfortable he seemed.

Was he actually comfortable?

The thought came to mind. The insecurity wasn't new, but it wasn't old. It had popped up in his head when the blond hero came with two coffees in hand with a bright smile on his face and too much on his mind while Hitoshi was only in patched up sweatpants and an old worn-out shirt. The coffee was good, sure, but he couldn't get out of his own head.

With his thoughts spiraling and more time passing, he ends up falling asleep at some point. He isn't sure when or how, but he gets himself to fall asleep with steady breaths and someone next to him.

The sun makes it's presence known, shining through the blinds that were bent and a little broken from the last person who owned the place. The sun seemed to take it's time going up, making sure to make Hitoshi's morning start well with his eyes getting blinded with the beam star that was held up so high.

Hitoshi groaned and squeezed his more shut to try and keep out the light. He sat up, hands going to his face as he rubbed his eyes to help wake himself up more.

His and Denki's position had changed while they slept. Denki's head was under a pillow while an arm was over Hitoshi, though now his arm was forced to go back due to Hitoshi getting up without him even realizing it until now. He took the others arm and laid to where he could sleep more comfortably before he stood up when remembering his small promise for the blonds breakfast.

Denki was so persistent on not eating the granola bar he tried to offer after sex, stating how he just wanted to sleep but Hitoshi could already hear Denki's grumbling stomach even if he weren't awake just yet.

Standing, he stretched his body, arms going up. He felt his body shake a little at the sudden stretch right after he woke up, making him shake it off a little before letting his arms go back down lazily. Walking out of the small bedroom, his body felt stiff, but he didn't regret a thing they did that night.

Each step he took was careful. Regardless of the blond being a heavy sleeper, Hitoshi still tried to keep as quiet as he possibly could, not wanting to chance it and end up waking him up from his slumber. The kitchen was fine and as clean as he could get it, the counters could be better but so could his life.

He rummaged through his cabinets, frowning when seeing he would have to ask the hero to get him more food because dammit- he can't keep eating instant ramen for breakfast, lunch, and dinner or he'll go insane cause that's all he could really find in there. He grabbed two of the instant ramen cups, getting water to boil and beginning to make a shitty cup of coffee he was so blissfully blessed with each day.

The water finished before his coffee, so he put the steamy water inside the cup so the dry noodles could become soft and more edible. He didn't have to check the back of the ramen cup to know how long it'd have to sit, knowing it by heart at this point.

When his coffee was done, so was their breakfast. He wondered if he should wake Denki or just let the ramen cool down until it became cold because he's too much of a coward to disturb the peaceful sleep the blond was getting. He sighed at himself, shaking his head as if he were disapproving of himself, though luckily, he didn't have to do anything to get Denki up.

He heard him before he saw him, but when he did see him, his heart melted as it did many times. Denki came walking in, hair an absolute mess, his shirt going off one of his shoulders as he rubbed his eye tiredly. Hitoshi noticed the sight limp to his step and couldn't help the smirk. "Ah, sleeping beauty finally wakes up. Took you long enough." He starts, grabbing a mug and began to pour his coffee.

"You think I'm pretty?" Denki says back, and he didn't have to turn around to see the cocky smile on his lips as he propped himself up on the counter to sit down. "Maybe." Hitoshi tells when finishing pouring as much coffee he could in his mug before grabbing chopsticks and the blonds ramen, handing it to him. "Eat. I don't need you angry at me for no reason."

Denki snorts, but does as told, blowing carefully on the noodles before sucking them up into his mouth. He didn't even question the instant ramen breakfast.

"You have any work today?" Hitoshi asks. He asks this every day, hoping for the answer of no every time. Swallowing down his bite, he takes a single noodle and eats it while speaking. "Not that I know of. I'm supposed to have a day off today." He tells Hitoshi honestly, and Hitoshi doesn't miss the change in mood.

"mmm...Well, you can stay here today if you'd like. I might leave to go some things, but that's it." He reply's and Denki just nods. Hitoshi goes over to the fridge, grabbing a cold water for Denki sense he had foolishly forgotten to get him a drink. He puts the water right besides Denki, looking at him sternly to tell him to drink some of it, and he does.

A silence washed over them. It wasn't uncomfortable nor was it awkward as Hitoshi began to chow down on his own ramen, though he kept a gaze on Denki while he ate and drank. He always admired him like a painting, gazed at him like a person would the stars. Denki Kaminari, known as charge bolt to many, was the world's greatest person and he could bet upon his life that no one truly realized such a fact.

A small snort of a laugh came from the blond himself. "What are you staring at?" He asked with a small tilt of his head. The smile on his lips was a treasure to see and his kiss made him feel rich instead of poor. There were few times when Hitoshi spoke such honest and cheesy words, but the blush it made come to Denki's cheeks was worth the cringe of it.

"Someone beautiful."
