    Kevin’s eyes meet Aaron’s in the mirror. Aaron raises one eyebrow that has the black outline of a carved out pumpkin eye around it. Kevin tilts his head, narrowing his eyes. Andrew throws a drumstick at him. He sees it coming from his peripheral and catches it, twirling it between his fingers before he points it towards Aaron.

    “You.”

    “What about me?”

    “Kiss me on stage.”

    “No,” Andrew says, at the same time Nicky says: “No fair!”

    “You can’t tell me what to do.” Aaron’s gaze cuts across to Andrew and he frowns.

    “I’m advising you not to do something stupid.”

    “It’s not Kevin’s fault he’s stupid.”
