Moonlight Above

Summary:

Gloom (keyword: try) writes a lovely poem about Renée and him in the underworld.

Work Text:

For the moonlight that shines down on me

Undaunted and everlasting; such is Renée

Calms the fears and turmoil inside of me

Keeping me light on my toes and my heart

In and out, I let her be for she is so dear to me

Matching her upbeat steps as she pulls me in

Absorbing the light and warmth along the way

Below I tend to go, above she tends to stand

Observing and admiring all that she is

The ground may bring forth quite the quake, but

The stumbling is something I will not feel for she holds me tight

Once a time she did, plenty a times she does now

Making my heart swell with warmth and joy from here below.
