Chapter 1: Be Brave, Ice Bag (Wendy's story)

Authors Notes: Wow, I can't believe I'm actually going to do this. It's been on the backburner for a long while and I, for one, cannot wait to get started with this. Hope you enjoy how Wendy got involved with Fairies, Witches, Heroics, and the next chapter of her life.

"Ugh, fine, let's get this crap over with."

These were gruff words said by Wendy Corduroy, who just a few hours ago, said goodbye to twins and very close friends Dipper and Mabel Pines as they had just left Gravity Falls for the summer and were heading back to their home in California. Not even a few minutes later, her dad, "Manly" Dan Corduroy, found out about some of the juvenile crimes she committed over the summer and signed her up for this military school that's out of this world.

Literally.

Her father signed her up to attend the Red Fountain Academy for Specialists and Wizards on the planet Magix. They had a really heated argument about all of this, but in the end, they agreed to attend IF she could at least say goodbye to her friends. So after an hour of saying goodbye to her Earth friends Tambry, Robbie, Thompson, Lee, Nate, and her new friends Candy and Grenda, but for some reason, could not find Pacifica, Wendy was led through a portal by her dad to the high prestige castle-like academy, where she saw various teenage boys in strange blue and white uniforms doing military exercises, sparring with strange weapons, and just chatting with one another. After an awkward goodbye, Dan left, but not before turning around and looking sad for his only daughter pissed at him, hoping one day she'd know the real reason behind this.

Wendy huffed, readjusted her backpack and her new pine tree hat, and walked forward into the schoolyard where upon further inspection, she saw various teenage guys in blue and white school uniforms, each plaid with a cape. This kind of irked Wendy as she hated practically everything about this place.

"Oh god, this place is even more stupid than I thought," Wendy groaned as she walked to one of the older guys who was not wearing a uniform. "Uh, excuse me?"

The older guy turned to look at her and saw Wendy had her bags with her, which could only mean one thing: another student ready to be molded into a proud specialist.

"I presume you're a new student?" He said, with a deep, serious tone in his voice.

"Yeah, that's me," Wendy said, not really excited about the thing.

"Glad you weren't aboard the shuttles. Those things can get pretty crowded at times," he joked as he suddenly got serious again. He also had a holographic list appear from a pen-like device ready to check something on it. "Name?"

"It's Wendy. Wendy Corduroy," Wendy said to him, as his eyes widen.

"Corduroy…. I know this is a long shot, but You wouldn't happen to know a Dan Corduroy, would you?" The older guy asked.

"That's my jerk of a dad. Dropped me off here after a long and interesting summer all because I stole a cop car, vandalized a convenience store with some friends, and got into a stealing frenzy with my old boss from my summer job," Wendy answered, not expecting to get a laugh out of the older man.

"Danny and I used to be specialists here when we were students! Didn't he ever tell you anything about me?" He asked Wendy.

"I didn't know this place existed until like 2 hours ago," Wendy answered.

"Oh that jerk forgot to tell you, didn't he? Well, I'm his best friend, Codatorta. I'm actually the second in command of Red Fountain here," Codatorta replied to her.

"So you're the vice principal?" Wendy asked. "That's kind of cool."

"But make no mistake, Corduroy," Codatorta said as he leaned in and narrowed his eyes. "Just because you're my best friend's daughter, does not mean you get any special treatment. Is that clear, specialist?"

Wendy looked into his eyes and scuffed. "Yeah, fine. Whatever," Wendy said, fully expecting to get scolded Drill Sargent style, but he just chuckled at her.

"Bold, brash, and not so easily bent by authority. You really are a Corduroy," Codatorta said as he leaned back. As he did, he saw Sky, also a new student with a high grade, stroll by. "Specalsit Sky, front and center!"

As he said that, a specialist in uniform with messy brown hair, some freckles, and a strange lightsaber-like hilt on his belt ran up and saluted at him.

"Yes sir?" Sky said as he awaited his orders.

"This here's your final member of the squad. Meet Wendy Corduroy, she's from Earth," Codatorta introduced her to Sky. "Show her around the campus and get her to know the others."

Sky saluted as Codatorta walked away.

"So, you're Wendy?" Sky said, introducing himself. "Nice to meet you. I'm Prince Sky of the planet Erykryon."

"Wait, prince?" Wendy asked. "There's like space princes out there?"

"Sure are," Sky happily responded. "Most of the civilizations out in the universe still use a monarchy for each planet."

"Well, mine has a mix of a ton of different forms of government," Wendy answered as she walked with Sky. "Speaking of, who else is in this squad of ours?"

"Thought you'd never ask," Sky said as he waved his hand, signaling her to follow. "One of our own is working in the ship bay at the moment, so let's go find him."

"Ship bay?" Wendy asked. "You mean like… boats?"

"Of course not," Sky chuckled. "We use Star ships so we can head to other planets." He laughed until he saw the shocked expression on Wendy's face. "You don't have stuff like this on Earth, do you?"

"Not by a long shot, unless you count unmanned rovers to a neighboring planet and sometimes manned missions to our moon," Wendy said calmly while not freaking out. She was currently on another planet AND talking to a potential alien. Anyone would have freaked out about this and nobody would give her any grief. However, Wendy was very good at masking her stress.

"Well, stick with us, and we're gonna blow your mind every day until our inevitable deaths," Sky said with a grin as they reached the ship bay where various mass-produced ships were being refueled, worked on, or just resting while waiting for their next mission.

Holy shit, this looks like something straight out of a sci-fi movie," Wendy said while observing her surroundings. As she was looking around, she accidentally bumped into another person, causing them both to fall.

"Sorry, sorry, I wasn't paying attention to where I was going," the newcomer apologized, trying to adjust himself.

"It's ok, man. I should be the one saying sorry because I'm just so damn starstruck over this whole thing," Wendy said as she helped him up, but felt one of his arms were different. "Whoa, dude… are you a cyborg?"

"You got a keen eye, miss," the new specialist said. "I had my left arm and leg replaced with cybernetics in order to help with the missions ahead."

"So, a cyborg, eh?" Wendy said. "I know a guy back on Earth who likes this sort of thing."

"Earth?" the new specialist exclaimed as Sky walked up.

"Yep, she's the new girl, Timmy," Sky explained before introducing him. "Wendy, meet Timmy. Our squad's pilot, engineer, and sharp shooting master."

"That explains things, Wendy. You're the Earth girl I've heard that joining us," Timmy said as he got to know her.

"Yeup, that's me," Wendy said as she got to know him. "So who else am I gonna be stuck with for the next few years?"

"Oh, there's our weapon specialist, Riven; he's, well," Timmy bites his lip as he hesitates, his eyes darting around the hanger.

"Impulsive, arrogant, Hot-headed." Sky offers helpfully.

Timmy grimaces at the truthful adjectives. "Yes, that," He quickly clears his throat and continues, "Then we have our navigator and resident pacifist Helia; he's an artist and my co-pilot," Timmy explains with a grin before he casually adds, "he's also Headmaster Saladin's grandson. Next is our squad leader and Sky's squire, Brandon," Timmy said, listing them all off on his fingers as he went.

"Right here," jabbing his thumb towards the brunette, "we have our diplomacy guy; as Sky said, I'm the tech guy, and you…"

"Oh, I'm a Lumberjack," Wendy proudly said. "We're woodland survivors with mad skills."

"Oh, like a ranger," Sky said.

"You know they're not the same thing, dude. Besides, lumberjack sounds cooler," Wendy suggested to him.

"But I do have to ask, why are you not in uniform? If Saladin or dragon-forbid Codatorta found out you're breaking protocol, you'd be running around the entire school from sun up to sun down." Timmy asked her.

"I just got here about 15 minutes ago. I'm still adjusting to… well, everything," Wendy said as the three of them left the hangar and headed upstairs. "But are the suits really necessary? They seem kind of dorky."

"Very necessary," Sky explained. "Not only do they showcase the pride of our school, but they also have some amazing features that help every specialist in need."

"For example, we wear Capes that also function as gliders and shields, Gems that double as communication devices, and durability that lets us go up against fairies and witches," Timmy listed out. "Not to mention our tools and weapons."

As the trio walked down another hallway, Wendy happened to glance outside only to stop in her tracks at the sight, unconsciously moving towards the window with a look of awe. A vast forest stretched out for miles, surrounded by sharp towering mountains, that reminded Wendy of a caldera. Not far ahead of her new school was a large lake flanked by what looked to be two castles, a pink one on the left and a purple one on the right. On the other side, directly across the lake from Red Fountain, was a city that looked like it was taken straight from a sci-fi novel.

"Whoa…" Wendy could only muster as she saw the view. As far as she knew, she was not in Gravity Falls anymore. As she was sightseeing, an older man walked down the hallway with a golden walking stick. As he did so, both Sky and Timmy immediately saluted him as he stood next to Wendy.

"Magix city, one of the best cities in the known universe," the man said, admiring the view with her. "In all my years of teaching this school, this view of the city never gets old.

"Yeah, I'll say," Wendy said, complementing as she noticed something he said. "You're a teacher here?"

"I'm not just A teacher, miss Corduroy. I am THEE teacher," the old man chuckled to himself. "I am the headmaster of Red Fountain. One of the most powerful wizards known to all warriors and magicians alike. Saladin, the grand wizard of all!"

"Well, that kind of explains those two acting like soldiers," Wendy said as she pointed back to Sky and Timmy.

"At ease, men," Saladin said as the two of them relaxed.

"So… I'm not in trouble, am I?" Wendy asked.

"Of course not. In fact, I have a gift for you," Saladin said as he pulled out a green gem and gave it to Wendy.

"What's this," Wendy said as she inspected it.

"It's your uniform," Timmy said. "Place it over your left side of your chest and it'll form a uniform over your body."

Wendy, curious about it, placed it on the left side of her chest as the gem glowed and formed a Red Fountain uniform over her body almost instantly.

"Whoa!" Wendy shockingly said over this change. "This is actually kind of cool! Kind of reminds me of those magical girl series back home."

"Now you're looking like a Red Fountain specialist," Sky said as he gave her a thumbs up.

"But I do have to ask about your gem," Timmy said as he looked closer to it. "While the rest of us have our first initials on our gems, yours seem to resemble a bag of ice?" Sky then pointed to the gem on his uniform and how it had the letter 'S' inscribed in it. Wendy also looked at Timmy's gem and saw that it had a 'T' inscribed on it.

"Your father did mention a certain something involving a cipher zodiac wheel, but I want to ask you how you knew of it... or why you're the ice bag of legend?" Saladin asked.

"Well, this did JUST happen, but recently, me and a few others killed Bill Cipher," Wendy said without any remorse as Saladin, Sky, and Timmy were all shocked by this.

"Uh... Headmaster? Is she... telling the truth?" Timmy asked, hoping he was being pranked. As he was asked that, Saladin's eyes glowed as he closed them, humming for a few seconds.

"Is he ok," Wendy asked.

"He's fine, Wendy. Headmaster Saladin is just making sure if you're telling the truth or not," Sky answered Wendy, but was suspicious at what she said. As he said that, Saladin's eyes opened as the glow died down.

"And this young lady here is telling the truth," Saladin smiled at her. "Bill Cipher is no more."

"By the dragon..." Timmy cursed as he was astonished. "The infamous interdimensional being himself is dead."

"No wonder why you're in the best first-year group at Red Fountain," Sky said, suddenly realizing how everything made sense. As the three of them talked, Saladin got a transmission from a device he had in his pocket and read it to himself. After reading it, he placed the device back into his pocket and turned to the rest of the trio.

"Specialists, listen up! We just got an emergency first mission for your squad," Saladin said with a serious tone as Sky and Timmy saluted.

"Damnit, already? I just got here," Wendy whined.

"Missions wait for nobody, young lady," Saladin told her. "I've informed Helia and Squad Leader Brandon to meet me in my office. You three head down to the armory and inform Riven of the summons. Then gear up and meet me in the office."

"SIR!" Both Sky and Timmy saluted at the same time.

"Eh, fine. Not like I have a choice," Wendy said, shrugging. Saladin notices Wendy isn't really acting like a specialist, so he makes a mental note to make sure to make a Specialist out of her. So he lets it slide and walks away. As he did that, both Sky and Brandon turned around quickly and Wendy followed.

"You really need to treat him with respect," Sky said, warning Wendy out of respect.

"Hey, you two have your thing, and I have mine," Wendy said, smiling as she walked with the both of them. "So, armory, eh? What kind of gear are we talking about here? Crossbows? Miniguns? Flamethrowers?"

"Red Fountian has an array of mostly melee weapons used to fight villains up close," Sky explained. "With a few exceptions like archers, snipers, and sharpshooters, like Timmy here."

"I can hit a target between the eyes from over a thousand Earth meters away," Timmy said, happy to show off his skills. "I've downloaded some Earth terms into my brain to help relate to Wendy."

"You can link your brain up to the internet? That's pretty badass, dude," Wendy said, seriously considering getting that for herself so she can be even lazier than she is now. As they were all talking, they were all walked up to another Specialist with spiky magenta hair, who was at the armory, supplying another squad with weapons.

"Don't shove. You'll all get a chance to practice stabbing each other," he rudely told the group as Wendy, Sky, and Timmy slowed down to approach him.

"I'm going to assume that the magenta Vegeta in front of us is Riven?" Wendy whispered to Sky and Timmy, as the two of them nodded. As Riven was serving up the weapons, he spotted Sky and Riven walking up with a girl he'd never seen before. Knowing this is gonna be a headache, Riven sighed.

"Alright, that's enough. Just head out already. My squad is rolling up, which means I might be deployed on a mission very soon," Riven said as the other specialists understood and marched out. As they left, Riven turned to them. "We're going on a mission, aren't we?" Riven asked.

"Yeup. Headmaster Saladin has a mission for us, so he told the three of us to pick you up and meet him, Helia, and Brandon at his office for debriefing," Sky explained to him.

"And who is this chick?" Riven said, earning a stern look from Wendy.

"This is Wendy from Earth," Timmy introduced himself. "You were told about this in our group messaging system."

"You know I skim those things, Timmy," Riven teased. "A chick joining us? It's whatevs. I don't care."

"Hey, Sky, would it be cool if I slapped him if he says anything sexist?" Wendy whispered.

"Go for it," Sky says, giving her full permission.

"So, what's it gonna be, guys? The usual?" Riven said as he offered up some of those strange techno hilts and dual sci-fi-looking ray guns.

"I'll be taking my broadsword, as usual," Sky said as he took his hilt.

"And i shall be taking my twin energy pistols, too," Timmy said as he took them, spun them a bit, and attached them to either side of his waist.

"Remember what Professor Blair said about your blade combat, Timmy," Sky noted. "They said that while your ranged combat is unmatched, you have been lacking in your close combat skills."

"Very well, Sky," Timmy said as he took another hilt and attached it to the side of him. "I shall take a Rapier model."

"That's the spirit, dude," Sky said, fist-bumping him.

"And you?" Riven asked.

"Me? Oh, you got any axes?" Wendy asked as out of nowhere, Riven started laughing at him. "Something wrong, pretty boy?" Wendy said, getting annoyed with him.

"Nobody here uses axes," Riven said, cackling like a madman as Codatorta saw what was going on and walked up to them.

"What's so damn funny, specialist?" Codatorta demanded as Sky, Timmy, and Riven saw him and immediately saluted at him. "At ease."

"Oh hey. This guy thought it would be funny to laugh at me as I asked for an axe," Wendy explained to Codatorta what happened.

"Oh us that right?" Codatorta said, looking at Riven. "It just so happens that I remembered that my old friend Dan used to use an axe while he was here."

"With all due respect, Professor Codatorta, but what does that have to do with anything?" Riven asked, knowing he would be scolded.

"It just so happens that Dan is actually Wendy's Father, AND I found this while cleaning out my office," Codatorta said as he handed Wendy a tecno hilt, but it's an older model.

"Is that a model 424 Phantoblade?" Timmy asked.

"Good Eye, Timmy," Codatorta replied. "This one in particular was one of the few used by Dan when he was here, and if there's one thing I know about Coduroys, is that they never go with swords."

"Phantoblade?" Wendy asked, clearly confused.

"A specialist's weapon, persay," Codatorta explained as he pulled out his phantoblade and activated it. "Basically it's like a Lightsaber from your Star Wars movies, minus all the heat."

Wendy inspected it as she accidentally turned it on and the hilt extended a bit as a single green axe blade appeared on it.

"Whoa, cool!" Wendy exclaimed in both surprise and awe. "This is actually pretty awesome."

"And your model has 4 different modes, too. One hand with one blade. One hand with two blades. Two hands with one blade, and two hands with two blades," Codatorta explained as Wendy gets the hang of it.

"This is awesome and all, but isn't this important to you?" Wendy said as she turned it off and attached it to her side.

"It is, but it's more important that Dan's daughter inherits his weapon as she attends this school," Codatorta explained as Wendy understood. "Now hurry up. Headmaster Saladin wants you all in his office on the triple."

"YES SIR!" All 3 boys shouted as they saluted.

"Thanks for the axe, Codatorta," Wendy smiled, thinking she's gonna like it here.

5 minutes later, all 4 of the specialists arrived in Saladin's office as they saw him, and two other Specialists. One with blonde hair, and another with long black hair in a hairband.

"Right on time," Saladin said as the 3 boys saluted at him.

"So I'm guessing these two must be Brandon and Helia?" Wendy asked, shocking Brandon as she did not show any respect when she came in.

"I'm Helia and the blonde one is Brandon," Helia, the black-haired specialist, said as he offered his hand to her for a handshake, as she gladly took it. "It's finally nice to meet you, Lady Wendy."

"Wendy's fine, but at least you're a lot nicer than Riven here," Wendy said, shaking his hand while earning a glair from Riven. While this was happening, Sky gave Brandon and Helia their weapons as they stashed them away on their persons.

"Now that Brandon's squad has fully assembled, we can finally begin our briefing," Saladin said as his desk lit up as a hologram of a blonde woman appeared off it. "I don't expect Wendy to get who this is, but does the name Princess Stella Straffi ring any bells to you?"

"Of course I do," Sky said, excited to see her face. "She's my girlfriend."

"Look at you, dating a space princess," Wendy said, congratulating him.

"Wait, Princess Stella? Isn't she supposed to be at the Alfea College for Fairies?" Brandon asked.

"I asked Professor Griselda from Alfea about this, and she said she has not shown up yet until she called me saying Stella is in trouble," Saladin explained, to which Sky reacted horribly.

"Stella is in trouble?! We gotta save her!" Sky practically shouted, embarrassing himself as the other specialists looked away.

"I know you and Stella got a good thing, but come on man," Brandon said, trying to calm him down.

"This is where you lot come in," Saladin said, looking at the squad. "Espeicaly you, Wendy."

"Me?" Wendy asked, surprised at this.

"Is it because she's a girl?" Riven said as he got smacked upside the head by Wendy. "OW! What did I do?"

"Thank you," Brandon whispered to Wendy.

"It is not because she is a girl, Specialist Riven," Saladin said as the hologram on his desk shifted from Stella's image to an image of a familiar planet. "It is because she is from Earth, the same world Stella sent her SOS from."

"Nice! Home field adavntage!" Wendy happily said.

"Did she say why she sent an SOS?" Sky asked Saladin.

"She said something about hideous monsters chasing her and a fairy she met on Earth," Saladin told him, finding some of the information strange.

"I hope it is not like last time when she sent us the SOS so we would spring her from her princess duties," Timmy remembered.

"Most of us got here a week ago before to get used to Red Fountian, and Stella tricked us by using the official Red Fountian SOS signal to make us go shopping with her," Helia whispered to catch Wendy up.

"Lucky. All I did last week was survive an armageddon and help kill Bill Cipher back in my hometown," Wendy whispered to Helia. "Long story, I'll tell you and the others later."

"You're all moving out in 5 minutes with a portal. No spaceship," Saladin ordered. "Rescue Princess Stella and if there's a threat, contain it. Dismissed."

"SIR, YES, SIR!" The specialists, save for Wendy, saluted at their headmaster.

"We will not let you down, Grandfather," Helia added as they all left the office.

"Wait, Grandfather?!" Wendy asked Helia.

"I will tell you all about it, after you tell me how Bill Cipher died," Helia said to Wendy.

"Deal," Wendy agreed.

"Focus, squad! We need to make sure we are truly ready for anything," Brandon ordered at the rest of them. "Wendy, you're very important to the mission ahead. Can we count on you?"

"Sure," Wendy nodded. "If we have to fight a monster to save the princess, then I'm all in for it."

"Then I think you and I are gonna get along just fine," Sky smiled, forming a new trust with his new squadmate. "Timmy, ready the portal!"

On Earth, inside a Californian house's living room, a teenage redhead, her two parents, and Stella herself were inside the living room, trying to make sense of everything that just happened within the last 6 hours.

"So, let me get this straight," the father began. "You, a self-proclaimed 'fairy princess', fought an ogre, and my daughter, my own Bloom, has the magic of her own? And on top of that, you wanna give her a chance to give her an education at a fairy school on... another planet called Magix?"

"Yep, that's everything," Stella happily said.

"Are you ok, dad?" The daughter, Bloom, asked her dad as he pulled out his phone.

"Vanessa, what's the number to the mental institute?" The father said as he tried dialing it up.

"Wait, what?!" Bloom exclaimed. "Dad, you can't be serious."

"Listen to what she's saying, Bloom," Her father exclaimed. "Alien fairies with magic fighting trolls?"

"Ogre, actually," Stella corrected him. "You'd know what a troll would look like if you've seen one."

"See? This girl is crazy," The father said as he tried to call somebody, but Stella used her magic to turn his phone into a banana with his own eyes.

"Still think I'm Crazy, Mike?" Stella taunted as Bloom and Vanessa struggled to hold in their laughter.

"Oh haha, very funny," Mike scoffed. "Can you please turn my phone back?"

"Only if you say you're sorry," Stella teased Mike.

"Just do it, Mike. It's best not to annoy a fairy princess," Vanessa agreed with Stella. Mike groaned at the thought of it.

"I'm sorry for being a pompous, closed-minded jackass. Can you please turn my phone back to normal?" Mike apologized and begged Stella.

"Hm... apology accepted!" Stella said as she did just that.

"I still can't believe any of this is real," Mike said as he's trying to adjust to all of this.

"You and me both, Dad," Bloom said. As she said that, the four of them heard a loud banging knock from the front door as it broke off its hinges. As it did that, the four of them ducked for cover as they all saw a familiar yellow ogre in a brown overall in the frame.

"Knock knock, guess who's back," the ogre said, scaring the four of them.

"KNUT?! HOW DID YOU FIND THIS PLACE?!" Stella screamed at the top of her lungs.

"Let's just say I had some help this time around," Knut said as a blue brute wearing a brown leathery loincloth smashed its way in and roared at the top of its lungs.

"Let me guess, is that a troll?" Mike said while scared out of his mind. Even though he was a firefighter, he was unable to fight such a beast.

"Sure is. But that's nothing a fairy can't handle," Stella said as she transformed into her fairy form and her ring transformed into a staff at the same time. "Bring it on, ugly and uglier."

As she did that, the troll started charging at Stella as she blasted it back with her magic from the staff, crashing through the wall outside.

"My house!" Vanessa yelped out, seeing all the damage.

"I'll fix this up when we're done. For now, head outside for I have a plan," Stella said as she flew outside the house to fight Knut, while Bloom had to fight off against the troll.

"Uh...," Bloom studdered as the troll got up and saw Bloom and roared. "Oh shit." Bloom then picked up a lamp and tried using it as a weapon against it.

"Bloom, please don't break my lamp," Vanessa begged her daughter as she was hiding behind a couch.

"Stella did say she would repair the damages with magic," Bloom said as she smashed the lamp against the troll's arm as it roared out in pain, and then in anger.

"Use your magic, Bloom," Stella told Bloom. "Trust me, it makes fighting a whole lot easier." As she said that, Knut swung his arm and backhanded Stella a few feet back.

"Haha, give up the staff, ya little brat," Knut laughed at Stella. "You can't possibly fight both me and my troll at the same time by yourself. Especially with the redhead not knowing her own magics. It is as the Earthlings say... It's all ogre now." As he laughed even more at the bad meme pun, a portal appeared behind Knut and opened up.

"I wouldn't count your dragon eggs before they hatched, ogre, for I... called in backup," Stella said, smirking at the inevitability of what was to happen. As Knut slowly stopped laughing, he saw a glow behind him. He, the troll, and the Peters family saw that Brandon's specialist squad arrived on the scene.

"Hey, Sky!" Stella shouted as she waved at him with both hands. "You're late!"

"A Specialist is never late, nor are they early," Sky told his girlfriend. "They arrive exactly when they need to be."

"Specialists?" Bloom said as she snuck outside.

"Specialists are a type of hero found at the Red Fountian Academy for Specialists and Wizards," Stella briefly explained. "It's a neighboring school filled with hotties that rain with weapons, tech, heroics, and diplomacy so they can serve their planet's military. And this here is a squad I personally know." Stella then pointed at the various members.

"That's Sky, aka my boyfriend," Stella pointed to Sky.

"Nice to meet you," Sky said.

"That's Timmy. He's a tech expert," Stella pointed to Timmy.

"A pleasure to make your acquaintance," Timmy introduced himself.

"This is Helia, who is a diplomatic advisor who has mad magic skills," Stella pointed to Helia.

"Charmed, friend of Stella," Helia said while bowing to her.

"Riven, a battle master with a real attitude problem," Stella pointed to Riven.

"Who are you calling an attitude problem," Riven said, annoyed and insulted at what Stella said.

"Brandon, the leader of this amazing squad," Stella pointed to Brandon.

"It's an honor to be here," Brandon said, smiling at Bloom as she felt something in her heart.

"And... Wait, is that a female Specialist?" Stella asked out loud, referring to Wendy. As she said that, Knut rushed at the specialists as Wendy took out her phantoblade and extended it without turning on its blades as she swung as hard as she could at Knut's stomach area, knocking him down as he wined in pain.

"Uuuuggghhhh," Knut groaned as he held his stomach, wondering how he could have let himself be defeated this easily.

"Sup, I'm Wendy," Wendy introduced herself to Stella and Bloom while retracting her weapon.

"By the dragon, she knocked down an ugre with one swing," Stella said, surprised.

"YEAH! That's how it's done," Riven cheered. "I take back everything I said about you!"

"Don't celebrate yet, guys. There's a troll inside that house we gotta capture as well," Brandon ordered his squad. "But do not forget that we need to protect the civilians as well." As Brandon said this, the troll rushed outside to grab Stella as Timmy fired some shots from his pistol's and pushed it back, clearly not meant to kill. While he was fighting from a distance, the rest of them got their weapons out and readied up.

"Don't you fellas forget about me now," Stella said as she twirled her staff overhead and slammed it down at the troll's head, causing it to get dizzy. As that happened, Brandon slashed its back while Helia and Sky slashed both arms. Riven then quickly slashed the troll's knees, thus causing him to fall down in pain. Surprisingly, the beast was not cleaved or bleeding but was howling in pain.

"Dumb question, but how do we capture this thing?" Wendy asked as Brandon pulled out a few disks from his gem.

"Watch and learn, rookie," Brandon smiled as he threw the disks at the troll. The disks then exploded on impact into giant rings of lightning surrounding the troll, immobilizing it in the air.

"Electro-cuffs. They're Primary use of restraints on larger targets, especially for trolls like this fella here," Timmy explained to not only Wendy but also unintentionally for Bloom and her parents, wondering about what happened.

"It also works against ogres as well," Sky said as he got some disks as well. Knut saw this and pulled out a picture and placed it on the ground.

"Screw this!" Knut said as the picture teleported himself and the picture as well away, leaving practically no trace of his existence there.

"Wow, what a coward," Riven said as Brandon agreed with him.

"Is the princess and her friends ok?" Helia asked Sky as both he and Wendy headed over to Bloom and Stella.

"We are now, now that you're here," Stella said as she hugged Sky and gave him a kiss.

"Wait, so this was your plan," Mike said as he finally came out of his hiding spot. "Bring in more alien friends."

"Actually, I'm from Earth," Wendy corrected him. "The rest of my new friends are aliens."

"Wait, you're from Earth?" Bloom said, asking Wendy.

"Yeup. Heck, I only found out about all of this today," Wendy said as she chatted with Bloom.

"Same here. To be honest, it's very overwhelming," Bloom said as she started fiddling with her hands. "Before today, I never knew all of this was real. And now... I'm both excited and very nervous about attending Alfea."

"The fairy school near Red Fountain?" Wendy asked as Bloom nodded. "Look, I know we only just met, but if you're nervous about all of this Magix stuff, give me a call," Wendy said as she gave Bloom her number. "If we're gonna be fish out of water, why not do it together?"

"You'd really do that for me?" Bloom said as she smiled. "Thank you. I'm Bloom Peters, by the way. I'm gonna attend the Alfea College for Fairies."

"The name's Wendy Corduroy, Specialist over at Red Fountain," Wendy properly introduced herself. "Glad to know I'll have a friend that knows what I'm going through." Bloom smiles at the fact that now she won't be the only Earthling off-world.

"Hey Wendy, we gotta head back now," Brandon yelled over to Wendy as Helia and Riven were both in charge of handling the troll while it was floating before a portal.

"I gotta go now," Wendy told Bloom. "But like I said, call me any time you're feeling down. We'll hang, I promise."

"I'll hold you to that, knight girl," Bloom joked as Wendy went back to the others. "Bye!"

Wendy waved back at both Bloom and Stella, and by extension Mike and Vanessa as the specialists hauled back a troll in lightning chains.

Sometime after the Specialists head back to Magix, they escort the troll to one of the futuristic prison cells under Red Fountain. Wendy had a few claims about locking monsters under schools, but she was assured that Red Fountian is permitted to temporarily hold prisoners captured by its students before they can be transferred to more secure prisons. After that, the 6 of them head back up to Saladin's office where he was reading the mission report Timmy typed up during the lockup of the troll.

"Troll captured, civilians saved, Princess rescued, and you found out there was a fairy on Earth? On top of that, she decided to attend Alfea and Wendy provided emotional assistance if she requested it?" Saladin said as he read to the 6 of them. "You all did well tonight."

"But what about the ogre, Knut? His escape was a failure on our part?" Timmy asked his headmaster.

"Forgive us, Grandfather," Helia added on.

"This is bad at first glance, but we can use this as an opportunity," Saladin explained to the squad in front of him. "Ogres and trolls cannot use magic, which means the artifact Knut used to teleport away with was given to him by an outside source. We can use this to lure out who really has Knut under his command."

"So, you're not mad at us?" Brandon asked Saladin.

"Quite the opposite, squad leader Brandon," Saladin spoke. "Your squad performed admirably today, especially you Wendy."

"Me?" Wendy said as she pointed to herself as Saladin walked up to her.

"Not only were you strong enough to stop an ogre in his tracks, but you were also kind enough to help out a scared soul," Saladin explained to her. "Even though you were only here for about 4 hours, you already showcase the kind yet brave characteristics I strive to mold my Specialists into."

"Well, I just did what anyone would have done," Wendy honestly said.

"Keep those morals, Wendy, and you'll have the potential to be one of the best Specialists Red Fountain has ever had," Saladin said as he yawned. "It's getting late, so you're all dismissed for the evening. I expect you all bright and early for classes tomorrow morning." Saladin said as he trusted his staff to the floor as the Specaslists, minus Wendy, saluted.

"SIR!" The 5 boys said to him as Wendy yawned.

"Night," Wendy said as he stretched and left the office.

Later, the Specialists were relaxing in their dorm room, which housed 3 sets of bunk beds, a kitchen, a living room, 2 bathrooms, and a small workout room, talking about what happened over the last few hours.

"That was INCREDIBLE!" Timmy yelled in excitement. "I've never done an actual mission like that before."

"We did well today, guys," Helia said as he was doodling something in his sketchbook. "Let's just take the time to relax before the next thing happens."

"You said it," Wendy said, back in her normal clothes, drinking a soda while lounging on the whole couch.

"I'm just gonna say it, I'm surprised you don't salute or refer to anyone as 'sir'," Sky asked Wendy. "Doesn't the people of Earth have a military?"

"Militaries," Wendy corrected. "Our planet isn't so united as I've heard the others are."

"Doesn't explain why you're so carefree," Riven said as he leaned forward. "I was once like you until they broke me with ruling training regimens."

"Sounds like you're pretty weak to me," Wendy teased as some of the other specialists couldn't help but snicker.

"I bet you 10,000 Gold you'll say 'sir yes sir' within 48 hours," Riven challenged Wendy as she sat up.

"You're on, pretty boy," Wendy said as she shook his hand.

The Specalist's origin story is done, but who do you think will be next? The Fairy or the Witch? Vote in the reviews, and do let me know what you think of this project so far.

Until next time!
