The Sunny's heating unit was on the fritz and while Franky was hard at work on it for the last couple of days, Luffy was not taking it well as they drifted through the frozen archipelago of uninhabited winter islands.
Zoro, with great discipline, tried to extricate himself from his captain's grip, and the immense blanket that the two of them had been cuddled under for hours.
"Noooo…. don't go. Keep me warm, Zoro!"
"It's supposed to be my turn on watch, captain."
"I don't care," Luffy whined, pulling him closer. "Make somebody else do it."
Zoro was tempted. Instead, he pivoted in the bed, and stood up anyway, carrying Luffy and the blanket with him in his arms as he got up. Luffy clung to him like a monkey in a tree.
Who allowed him to be so adorable anyway?
Zoro carried his sleepy captain up to the galley, where he flopped him and the blanket on the bare table.
"Hey, shitty cook." Sanji turned from where he was getting breakfast started. "Take care of the captain."
Zoro didn't give him any time to protest before he walked out to the deck, already missing Luffy and the blanket's warmth.
