“It really warms the heart,” Rio smirks sarcastically.
Agatha scoffs at the thought, “You don’t have a heart.”
As Rio doesn’t let go of Agatha’s hand, she closes the distance between them, inching forward, staring right into Agatha’s eyes, “Yes, I do. It’s black,” her voice is low, almost irritated, or maybe disappointed, “And it beats for you."
Agatha’s mouth opens involuntarily as she tries to ignore the shiver travelling down her spine. “Well,” her pupils narrow and her lips curl into a smile, “it’s about to be ripped out.”
