Summary
The true test of Wade’s patience comes when Logan tries Japanese white peaches. By this point, Logan likes to think himself something of a peach connoisseur. Fresh, processed, juiced, grilled – you name it, he’s tried them all. But that all pales in comparison to the first succulent bite of Japanese peach he brings to his lips.
“Mmph,” he moans. The bite he took was slightly too ambitious; there’s juice trickling from the corner of his mouth and running down into his beard. He catches it with a finger which he sucks into his mouth, determined not to waste a single drop of the honeyed nectar.
“Y’know, most people put up paywalls around shows like this,” Wade comments, leering at him from where he’s sat across their kitchen table, eating a breakfast burrito.
