   Summary

   Buck startles awake in the middle of the night, feeling strong fingers pressing down on his wrist and Tommy’s desperate, rough voice imploring him to open his eyes. He's confused and still half-asleep but as he cracks his eyes open, all the confusion morphs into worry and apprehension. He sees Tommy, hovering over him in the darkness, eyes wide and unfocused, hands trembling as he starts shaking him by the shoulders.
