Summary
They’re in the training room when the alarm sounds.
It’s not a normal alarm—not the curfew alarm or lunch, or the sudden midnight wake-up alarm—but something loud and deep, resonating through Tommy like when the earth shakes. He’s on alert immediately, like he wasn’t already on guard where they’ve been sparring most of the morning, as is part of their routine.
This alarm is anything but routine, as is the trainers response to the lockdown order that sounds out over the speaker and suddenly they’re ordering the kids back to their rooms as the lights shift into something red.
And Tommy—Fuck, Tommy’s been waiting for a moment like this for years.
Or: Tommy hates his trainers for what they’ve done to him, and his adopted siblings. Good thing its Villains that rescue him instead of Heroes. They don’t mind his bloodlust.
