Summary
A lifetime has passed since Alicent last saw Rhaenyra Targaryen. She has made good use of her time since and built her own peace, claiming a husband who takes his vows to the letter, a son who has replicated her every feature down to her wounds and flaws, and her own private practice as a therapist for King's Landing's elite.
Rhaenyra has done the same - or found her version of it, at least, after she took over the Dragonstone firm, dated old friends and met new lovers, one of them the woman she'll someday marry, and (half-)quit to embrace her family's historical mark on the art industry, set to release her first film in the coming months.
Everything takes a turn when, after seventeen years, Rhaenyra comes back to King's Landing and signs up to be Alicent's newest client, reviving a fire that now burns with terrible anger, irresistible manipulations, obsession bordering on need, and betrayals of everything they became without each other - starting with their partners and their promises to never (again) fall for each another.
