“I would kill one person for you.”
“Do not do that.”
“One.”
Izuku looked up from where he’d been laying, sprawled out on his bed like he’d just fallen from the floor above. He thoughtfully tilted his head to the side with a smile, “One?”
Kacchan nodded, leaning back in Izuku’s desk chair, “One. No more.”
Izuku snorted at his friend’s antics, “Thanks, Kacchan. Do I get to pick which one?”
“No.” Kacchan spat, no heat to his voice, “This is my one free murder. I get to decide.”
“So lemme get this straight,” Izuku stared at the All Might poster on his ceiling with exasperated fondness, trying to will the man himself to burst through that door and send them that oh so familiar endeared look. “You would pick a single person of your own accord, kill them and then pin it on ’doing it for me’ as a sort of get-out-of-jail-free-card?”
“Dunce face should never have asked you to play Monopoly.”
“I have no idea what you’re talking about.”
He could sense the eye roll. Izuku couldn’t think of it as anything but warm, “And, for the record, that is not my plan.”
“Oh yeah?” Izuku flung an arm over his face. Partly because he was tired and partly because he had been hanging around Aoyama a lot recently, “Shame. I guess killing half of a person will have to suffice, then.”
“You would get way too bent outta shape the second someone else got hurt, idiot,” Kacchan groaned, voice edging on soft, “say the word and I’ll blast any number of people. Then you can decide who they are.”
Izuku allowed the smile on his face to widen, “I didn’t know you had such homicidal tendencies, Kacchan.”
“What can I say? I learn from the best.”
Izuku giggled, and Kacchan grinned, and that was that.
