“Okay, new system.” Tokoyami says. “What if we got rid of all the quirk classification in general and just let people use their quirks how they want as long as they don’t hurt people?”

“Then we wouldn’t have careers.” Todoroki said.

“We aren’t arresting grandmas on the street for using light telekinesis or moms healing their kid’s bruises, we’re arresting criminal acts committed with quirks.” Midoriya said.

“Yeah but we have permission to use our quirks to stop said criminals- If we gave everyone permission to use quirks as they seem fit, then what would be the point of the police and hero system?” Iida pointed out.

“Okay, then let’s just go into police work. The police are now heroes- but then what about heroes who have a look and rapport with the public? Or merch lines? Or who fair better in non combative situations?” Midoriya argued.

“Don’t Americans have something like that?”

“I don’t trust american cops or heroes,” Bakugou gruffled. “They kill a disproportionate amount of mutants every year.”

    “True dat.” Iida said.

“How did Midoriya going blind put us on the topic of quirk supremacy?” Kouda signed.

    "He's not blind, dicknips!"

Everyone knows that the way to check if someone is Quirkless is to see if they have two joints in their pinky toe. It's the sign that the person has no Quirk- that they haven't reached the next stage in evolution that most people have.
However, most people don't realize that there are *other* differences between the Quirked and the Quirkless, other parts that haven't evolved.

Or: 5 times 1-A thinks Midoriya is dying and/or sick, and the 1 time the truth is (partially) spilled.

And suddenly everything clicked into place. His grip around the bag went slack, and fell to the floor with a light thud that barely reached his recognition. His heartbeat was thumping loud in his ears, loud enough that he couldn’t hear anything else, anybody else, and his thoughts were narrowed down to one thing.

Deku gave him One for All.

“I’m not colorblind! You guys are just mean.”

“Deku, you’ve been colorblind since we were kids. I mean, you wear red shoes with your shitty green costume. How can you not be colorblind?” Bakugou rolled his eyes. “In kindergarten you were always mixing up your colors. Do you even know what color your shoes are?”

    Midoriya blinked. “They’re green.”

    “No they’re not, asshole!”

“DO NOT CUSS AROUND ERI!” Everyone yelled at the same time. Midoriya covered Eri’s ears. Bakugou flipped them off, before throwing Midoriya’s overnight bag in the direction of the elevator.

    “Hey! That’s my stuff!”

    Summary

Momo wasn't sure why it came as such a shock to her and her classmates that nitroglycerin was not, in fact, easy to control. The chemical was defined by it's instability, it's ability to go off under near any circumstances, it's powerful blows.

And yet, Katsuki had always made it look so simple. He soared through the air like it was nothing, switching between bullet-sized blasts and missile levels of firepower like most people switched channels on TV. Momo had found herself jealous of his quirk at times, unable to help wondering what it would be like to have such power at her fingertips.

Good news, she didn't have to wonder anymore. Bad news, it was absolutely terrible.
