"Your hair is red," Kacchan said.
Izuku frowned. He grabbed some hair from over his ear and tried to pull it forward where he could see. It looked green.
"It's nighttime," Kacchan continued, dead serious, "All Might is a bad hero."
Iida let his arm drop. "Bakugou, are you feeling alright?"
"Yes, there's nothing wrong with me," Kacchan said. Then he turned to stare at Izuku.

Summary
Izuku was on a stakeout. From his perch, he could see in through the apartment window and the sidewalk outside. If Mom left, he would know. If she opened a window or came out onto the balcony, he would know.
Mom was still sitting on the couch. She'd been there for a long time.
Like all stakeouts, it was simultaneously boring and nerve-wracking. Nothing was happening. Izuku was hungry. He needed something to happen.
One of their neighbors, a story up and three houses over, had a huge number of flowerpots on his balcony. Izuku had been flying over there to eat every so often, but he was running out of nector. Pretty soon, he'd need to start finding other food sources, and that would involve flying, which would take more energy. It would end the stakeout.
Oh, right—by the way, Izuku was currently some kind of bug.

"Hey, Uraraka!" Kirishima called, lifting the fingers of one hand in a tiny wave, "Come float this bag for Bakugou!"
"Hand it over," Uraraka said. Then she shoved the rest of her protein bar into her mouth.
Kirishima dropped the strap off of his shoulder, grabbed a handful of the bag's cloth and held it out. Uraraka took it. Then she ran for the front door.
"Uraraka," Tsu croaked, one finger on her chin, "Where are you going?"
"Finders keepers!" Uraraka huffed, kicking her slippers off in the genkan. Then she snatched her shoes from the rack and ran outside.

The old man burst out laughing. It was a good sound, deep and full, kind of like All Might. Then it morphed into coughing again.
Izuku dug his hands into his pockets, but he didn't have any tissues. Those were in his school backpack, which was at home. "Are you okay? Can you breathe?"
The man nodded, wiping his face with the handkerchief. When he'd finished, he stuck it back in his pocket. "Young man, I don't think you fell quite that hard."
"Oh, no!" Izuku said, face flushing. He was terrible at this. "I mean for you!"

Katsuki grabbed the phone off the side table, but he didn't even need to look at it to confirm his suspicions. His right arm had moved when he willed it.
Deku's passcode was the date of the sludge villain attack. Katsuki found his contact and called himself.
The other end picked up immediately, and Katsuki's own voice said, "Hi Kacchan! You have better sleep hygiene than me, I've been up for hours!"
"You—" Katsuki started, then winced. He was going to hear Deku's obnoxious voice every time he wanted to talk.

"Where's Creati?" Kaminari complained, voice tinny. He must be around the wrong corner, too far from the signal in Momo's drones, "Can't she track Uravity's phone?"
Uraraka's flip phone was too old to have GPS. Momo would have to hack a cell tower, maybe several, which would be illegal. But she didn't have time or breath to explain—one of her drones pinged her control system, alerting her to a potential lead. "I've got something!"

The driver was just about to pull away when someone grabbed the car door from outside and started yanking at the handle. Izuku turned to glare at the intruder—he would win, but he didn't want an altercation to begin with.
From the other side of the window, Kacchan crouched to more effectively glare back.
"Kacchan?" Izuku blurted. Quickly, he pulled up the tab to unlock the door.
Wordlessly, Kacchan opened the door and slid into the seat beside him.
Or, Midoriya decides to take a reconnaissance trip.

Hitoshi threw his capture scarf, lassoing a street lamp. From there he threw himself up and forward, high enough to grab the protruding decorative bricks that lined the edge of the nearest rooftop. His legs flailed, then found a grip against the wall, and he managed to haul himself up and over the railing. Then he had to stop and yank on the capture scarf. It took four tries to get it dislodged from the lamp.
"Good evening," Tokoyami said.
Hitoshi surpressed a startle. "A little warning would be nice."
Tokoyami approached from behind until he was also standing at the roof's edge, where Hitoshi could see him from the corner of his eye. Dark Shadow draped over his shoulders like a friendly cat.
