At first, it just cracks

I hear it crackle, echo, click

Nothing odd

Then it cracks

Still nothing wrong

Then I am crushed

So fast

So hard

So breathless

Alone and suffocating

You crush me and crush me and crush me

And it is dark

And I am suffocating

I cry out at first

But it is a waste

A waste of breath

That's all I am

So I wait in silence

And wait

And wait

And wait

And

Wait

They find me seven months later

What is left

The rocks took my eyes

Now all is dark

Eventually the breath comes back

But never fully

The rocks remain

The cave in still weighs on my spine
