Work Text:
She was married, she was married and he was left behind, why wasn't he good enough? What had he had done? Hyojong was still in shock that not only did he find out that Hyuna got married... but he saw it online... she didn't even say anything. In a short time of being with the other guy....
Maybe they were all right...
Why wasn't he good enough? He did everything she asked and even left the group that he was happy in for her. He stopped his career to take care of her and she didn't care. She left him because she told him she wasn't ready to get married but here she was not even a year after... married to someone else. Why wasn't he good enough? Why?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
It had been about a day since he had learned Hyuna was married and he was sitting in his apartment still in shock, he still cared for her and he knew that she cared. Well he thought that she did but not even telling him that she was getting married was a clear sign that she didn't. Was he to young? He was younger than her but not by a whole lot, and he sacrificed everything for her but he was left and she was now married. He couldn't help the stab of betrayal knowing that she didn't even have the common courtesy to tell him, that he was tagged in something by a fan hoping that he was doing alright.
No.... no the fuck he wasn't doing alright!
Getting up and moving to go lay on his bed just because what was the point of staying conscious, someone knocked on the door. "I don't want whatever it is your are trying to sell." He barked and was turning to make his way to his room when he heard a very familiar snort, "Open the door jackass." He knew that voice better than he knew his own and he was already reaching for the door, his eyes taking in the leader of Pentagon... his Hui. He didn't hesitate but wrap him in his arms around the chocolate haired hyung that he missed so much. Pulling him into the apartment, he hadn't seen Hoetaek in about a year with everything that happened and him serving as well as Hyojong serving now.
Just wrapping himself in the warm scent that the leader always carried, he always had the sense of protection and caring and right now Hyojong needed that. He needed that one person that never hurt him, the one that he apologized to more than he should have for what she had done. "What are you doing here?" He couldn't help but ask since he didn't want him to let go but he had to ask and felt those strong arms he missed so much wrap around his waist and hold him just a bit closer like Hoetaek missed him just as much, and then he heard the words that he needed to here.... the words that told him that he was enough... just not for her.
"I felt that you needed me and I came, I will always be here for you whenever you need me Dawnie. I will always hear your call."
