I woke up earlier than usual to suprise harry with breakfast in bed. Today was one of those rare days where both Harry and I got the day off from work and I wanted to make the most of it. I made his favorite waffles with some fruit and whipped cream. I grabbed two plates and piled the breakfast on them before I walked over to the cupboard and grabbed some cups for the apple juice. I placed the cups on the counter and poured the apple juice into both of the cups. Then I put the lid back on the apple juice and walked over the the fride to put away the apple juice. I walked back over to the counter and reached across the counter grabing my wand and levatating the plates and cups behind me as I walked to our room.
When I got to our room I quietly opened the door and peeked in to see Harry still sleeping. I smiled at how beautiful my husband looked when he was sleeping. I quietly walked over to the bed and shook Harry softly.
I smiled when Harry didn't even stir and whispered to Harry saying "Harry love I brought you breakfast."
Harry woke up at that squinting at me as he mumbled tiredly "Dray? What are you doing?"
I smiled at him softly before reaching for his glasses on the bedside table, sliding them onto his face leaning down to give him a small peck before replying with "I made you, your favorite breakfast, to celebrate having a day off with my beautiful husband."
Harry smiled and slowly sat up leaning against the pillows saying "Thanks but you didn't have too, I would have been happy to just relax with you today."
I rolled my eyes at his response as I nugde him a little to get him to move over so I could join him in bed. I grabbed his plate and gave it to him before grabbing my own. "Harry I know that but I wanted to do something nice for you but if you would rather I not you don't have to eat your food."
Harry's eyes widened at that as he rushed to say "No, I want the food it looks really good." Harry smiled at me "Thank you Dray, it means a lot that you would do this for me. I love you."
I smiled rolling my eyes at Harry's ridiculousness "Then eat your breakfast."
