    Ikari Shinji was a normal boy, he had a kind family and a few friends who seemed to like him, he was average at school and in everything he set out to do.

    Throughout his life he developed a very ugly mania: He closed himself off from the world, he didn't allow himself to have new experiences, he was afraid of hurting himself and other people, so, like the coward he was, he followed through the easiest way.

    But living in the shadows is tiring.

    Little by little, Shinji begins to see the walls he created crumble before his eyes, and the culprit of this could be none other than a certain albino with eyes as red as the rarest of rubies.
