Work Text:

Albedo shifted and squirmed against the bed, circling his wrists and arching his back, hoping to find an opening to escape in any of those attempts. However, all he found was Kaeya’s amused gaze, mocking him throughout the whole process.

“Let go,” Albedo ordered, annoyed and flustered. “I have work to do, I need to get up.”

Kaeya shook his head, promptly denying the request. Instead of letting him go, Albedo could feel how the knight pressed more weight on top of his pinned wrists, as if making sure they weren’t coming down anytime soon.

“Can’t do,” Kaeya mused, tilting his head, “I need to make sure you’re the real Albedo.”

“..What?” Albedo arched his eyebrow, scoffing in disbelief. “Couldn’t you come up with a better excuse?”

Kaeya refusing to get up from the bed and prolonging their mornings together wasn’t exactly a rare occurrence in their relationship. It was, mostly, a consequence of Albedo staying up to ungodly hours to finish his work.

Still, Kaeya wouldn’t really admit that he simply didn’t want to get up by the morning. He also wouldn’t blame the fewer hours of sleep - since that would lead to Albedo scolding him most of the time. So, instead, he came up with things like “testing the mattress”, “inspecting the sheets’ quality” and today…

“Oh, I’m extremely serious, mr. alchemist… or should I say imposter?”

Despite the lack of words, the confused look on Albedo’s face was enough to hint Kaeya to further elaborate on his accusation - which he gladly did. “You see, I happen to hear some stories about your time in Dragonspine with the traveler and the fact that there was a “fake Albedo” there alarmed me a lot.”

“If you heard the story, you probably also heard this is solv-”

“And,” Kaeya interrupted, making Albedo roll his eyes, “I now wonder if I was not sleeping with the enemy this whole time. How do I know if you’re the Albedo I know and not some imposter faking it? We need to check it.”

“Whatever gets you off the bed, captain.”

Kaeya chuckled, adjusting his position as he straddled Albedo’s waist - still keeping a firm grip around his wrists - and preparing himself to whatever was about to unfold.

“P-Pfft, hehey!”

“You see, my Albedo is really ticklish, so ticklish that I doubt there could be someone as ticklish as him,” Kaeya purred, licking his lips while a cranked up smile took place over Albedo’s lips.

Kaeya wiggled his fingers, climbing up Albedo’s sides at an awfully slow sleep. His waist, sides, then ribs and the spaces between each bone - Kaeya made sure to lightly tickle all of those.

Albedo’s sleeping clothes barely gave him any protection against the tickles that roamed his body and, in a matter of seconds, he found himself laughing and writhing under Kaeya’s body weight. It was too early to be having that!

“S-Stohohohop! AHAhaha, K-Kaeyahah, lehet me gohoho!” Albedo cried, pressing his eyes shut and whining while Kaeya rubbed his cheek against his.

“Well, you sure are just as ticklish as my Albedo… but I’m not convinced yet. Heh.”
