Summary
Six years since Rhaenyra and Alicent last saw one another. At their last meeting Lucerys had taken Aemond’s eye, and in all those years between the violence between their familial factions had swelled, rusted, dulled. But a dull knife could snarl worse than a sharp one.
And the shock of Viserys's physical decline, for Rhaenyra, snarled worse than any. She comes to Alicent for comfort, as she always has, in spite of everything.
