Some people just need a high-five. In the face. With a chair.

Summary:

Jon is upset at Elias

Notes:

Guys I’m not dead I just don’t have much motivation [I have some WIPs I don’t know if I’ll ever finish]

Work Text:

Jon paced in the small space of his office in front of his desk, clenching and unclenching his fists. Elias had been pissing him off recently. Always did mildly irritate him, honestly. But now he was really pissing him off.

As they paced, something caught their eye. The foldable metal chair used by guests when they gave their statements. Jon picked it up, walking out of his office.

His assistants must’ve noticed, because they asked why he was carrying a chair or just gave him glances, but he ignored them, more focused on what he was about to do. They made their way up the stairs and through the maze that was the institute before reaching Elias’ office.

They walked inside the office, not bothering to knock or close the heavy dark oak door behind them. Elias, who was standing up, talking to someone on the phone, paused and looked up at Jon.

“One moment, Peter.” The head of the institute mumbled into the phone before moving it away from his ear. “What can I do for you, Archivi-“

Before he could even finish talking, Jon had swung the chair with as much force as he could and hit Elias’ face with a loud CLANG!!

It was then that he realized what he had done. Before Elias could respond, as he was too shocked, (and still recovering from getting hit by a chair) Jon quickly walked out of his office and back downstairs. They speed-walked into his office, setting the foldable chair back against the wall before slumping down in their chair.

They sat there for a moment, processing what had just happened, before a small smile broke out on their face. He just did that, didn’t he? And it felt more rewarding than it probably should’ve.
