Summary:

After one of Kayden’s parties, Jey and Rhea are very drunk and enjoy each other’s company.

Notes:

Idk what to say to this, other than I love fluff. There is no real smut in this. Just the lead up.

Enjoy 🩷🩵💜🖤

Work Text:

Their laughter was contagious as they stumbled down the hallways. Damian did his best to keep them upright, but the drunken couple were completely lost to their alcohol. He had some alcohol, but not as much as these two. He had to make sure everyone got back safe. Kayden was giggling at his side, watching him struggle to keep his two friends from falling.

“You really are like a big brother,” Kayden giggled, just as drunk as these two, but far more lucid.

Damian grunted, “Oh, shut up.”

He lifted Rhea up to stand straight, “Where is your keycard?”

Rhea instantly giggled and pulled on a creepy voice, “I’ll give you three guesses.”

This caused Jey to burst out laughing and he nearly doubled over, but Damian managed to catch him. Damian groaned, muttering a few curses in Spanish. Rhea was giggling but she pulled the card out of back pocket and wiggled it in Damian’s face.

She turned to the door and after a few attempts, she finally got the door opened. She fell against it with a grunt before turning to Damian, “I did it!”

Jey clapped his hands, “Yeah, you did, uce!”

“Christ,” Damian rolled his eyes.

Jey had pulled away from his hold when Rhea grabbed his hand and dragged him against her. Instantly, they were all over each other, kissing and touching. Damian cringed and Kayden released a surprise laugh as she hid behind Damian.

“Get in your freaking room,” Damian hissed.

The couple pulled apart at Damian’s words. They muttered sorry as Jey backed Rhea into the room. She waved at her twin before the door closed, but not before he heard Rhea squeal as Jey picked her up.

Damian rubbed his forehead. He was too old for this. Kayden leaned against his arm, “What a good guy.”

He pushed her off him and headed down the hallway, He was muttering more things in Spanish. Kayden just laughed as she followed after him since her room was near his anyway.

—

Jey had Rhea against the wall, kissing her deeply and hungrily. She reciprocated, just as eager. Her hands were in his hair and his were pushing her crop top up until he was touching the lace of her bra. He was pressed into her and she felt every muscle and part of his body and it made her groan.

He pulled away to pull off his shirt and the her’s. She was still giggling as his eyes roamed her body, taking in the tattoos and the lace bra. She put her finger under his chin and made him look at her, “My eyes are up here, uce.”

Instantly, he grinned and picked her up by her thighs. She made a surprised noise, her legs and arms around him. She started laughing as Jey kissed her collarbone and neck.

Even with the fact he wasn’t paying attention, he found the bed and dropped her down on it. Rhea grunted, but still laughed, her drunken state unable to stop the laughing.

Jey kept his eyes on her as he lifted her leg and pulled off her shoe, tossing it off to the side. Rhea watched him with amused, but hungry eyes. Her other shoe was gone within moments. Next was her pants and it was a group effort to get the tight jeans off. It left her only in her bra and panties.

He kept hold of her left leg and bent it over his shoulder as he kissed down her leg. Rhea wasn’t laughing now as she released a soft moan, especially as he got to her thigh. He kissed and nipped at the skin.

Soon his eyes were on her again and she met his glaze. She swallowed a lump in her throat and nearly moaned at the sight of him devouring her with his eyes.

Rhea reached out to him and he moved to be in her arms, his hands on either side of her head, her leg set down again as they kissed. Rhea’s arms wrapped around his neck, holding him close. He had one knee on the bed, right between her legs and she started to grind against his knee, mewling against his lips.

She was desperate for him. She needed him. And he wanted her too.

—

The sheets were askew after a fun night. They both had come down from their intoxication. Rhea was lying against the pillows, the blanket resting over her chest. Jey was lying between her legs, using her left leg as a pillow while the right was draped over his bare stomach. The sheets only covered his lower half and Rhea’s legs were uncovered.

Jey was in the process of tracing her tattoos while Rhea’s fingers played with his curls. They were quiet, both blissed out from having a few rounds.

When he got a tattoo behind her knee, she flinched slightly, “Hey, ticklish there, mate.”

Jey just smirked and started to actually tickle her. She laughed, sitting up and trying to push his hands away, but Jey grabbed her hands instead. He was looking up at her as he kissed her fingers - one after the other.

She felt herself blushing. She’s not sure why these sweet moments made her so flustered. They’d just had sex (multiple times that night and plenty of nights before this) and they went on dates or just hung out, even if it was just in silence. They would scroll on their phones or watch some movie (usually horror much to Jey’s chagrin, but Rhea liked them, so Jey suffered through).

It was moments like this where Jey looked at her like only she existed. It was a look that said she was the most important person in his life. It always left her feeling squirmy and unsure of what to do with herself. She felt seen and vulnerable and all the bricks in her wall were transparent and no matter how hard she tried to rebuild it, it was never fast enough.

Jey saw the change in her expression and smiled, “Don’t lock up on me.”

Rhea felt a shudder go through her as she looked at Jey. She wanted to look away, but his gaze was holding her in place, daring her to look away from him. She wasn’t sure if this was what he was trying to do or if this was some made up competition in her head, but she was determined not to be the first to break.

He was smiling even more as she stared at him. He chuckled before kissing down her arm, his eyes still on her, “Are we having a staring contest?”

“You talk too much,” was her response as she pouted at him.

This caused him to laugh and he dropped her arm gently down. His hands moved to her waist and pulled her to him. She didn’t fight him. She allowed herself to be pulled against him and she got comfortable against his warmth. They stayed like that for a bit longer, just enjoying each other in this quiet moment.

However, Rhea still felt antsy. It was this feeling in her gut that felt like someone was squeezing tightly and if she didn’t say what she was thinking, she might be sick.

“What are we?”

Jey pulled back and raised a brow at Rhea, “What are we… what?”

Rhea groaned in frustration and pushed herself away from Jey, pulling the blanket up to cover her chest more. She was frowning at Jey, but he just seemed confused, “Us. This. What are we?”

Jey looked surprised. Rhea isn’t sure why she suddenly felt this awful feeling that was a mix of shame and anger. Why was he surprised?

“What’s that look for?”

“Rhea,” Jey reached out to touch her hand gently, frowning, “This entire time I thought we were together. Like… dating? Look, I’m 39 years old. I don’t really date, so I just figured we were? This entire time, did you think we were just fooling around?”

“What? Yes!” She was quick to reply, but then Jey looked like she just kicked him in the stomach. He pulled his hand away and she grabbed his hand, “No! Wait, fuck.”

She ran her hand through her hair in frustration. She took several deep breaths to calm herself. Once she felt more calm, she dropped her hands to look at Jey, “Okay, yes, I did think we were just fooling around because you didn’t say anything like we were dating or… I sound like a teenager again. Christ, what I’m trying to say is I do want to date you. I just didn’t know what you wanted.”

Jey looked confused once more, “Rhea, what have I said that made you think I didn’t want to date you this whole time I’ve known you? Coming out on Raw to see you and tell you I missed you. Saying I love you when Cody brought you up to the Judgement Day. Even still wanting you when you made a deal with Drew. Going up to Damian and Dom and actively asking if you were single while your ex was staring at me. Joining Damian because you asked me to even though I have no real beef with the Judgement Day. Inviting you out on dates, talking about you whenever I can and you really think I didn’t want to date you?”

Rhea was quiet the entire time. She just stared at Jey as he spoke, she wasn’t sure what she should be doing. She wasn’t sure what to say. When Jey laid it all out like that, she felt like an idiot.

Seeing her go still and seemingly unsure of herself, Jey reached out for her hand and intertwined their fingers, “I’ve wanted you the moment you stood up to me and dared me to hit you. I liked your crazy. I liked how loyal you were to your boys. And I’ll be loyal to you too, Rhea. I’m yours.

She stared at him for a long moment before she wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him in for a kiss. He held her waist, even as she pulled him down. Her back hit the bed, but she kept herself wrapped around Jey as they shared a kiss.

When the kiss broke, Jey nuzzled her nose, “I’m yours, Rhea.”

“I’m yours, Jey.”
