   Summary

   When Matt opened his eyes, he could tell that something was wrong. The last thing he remembered, he had been drinking with Hye-Jin and other coworkers he couldn’t quite remember the names of. He blinked away the drowsy feeling, rubbing at his eyes with the heels of his palms, slowly shifting into a seated position. Bizarrely, Matt was on a beach. Sure, Boston was on the oceanfront and hosted a number of beaches in its boroughs, but the confusing part was that he was alone. Matt’s vision had a grainy quality to it, the color drained like he was seeing in sepia tone.
