Summary
Stacey just can’t understand some things about Goshikida Kaito. Why does he act like they’re friends, hold back in battles with him, even touch him? He comes up with a plan to get some answers. This leads to unexpected revelations about their relationship, splitting the timeline of this story off from canon at a point around episode 40 and resulting in other differences.
These differences grow bigger and bigger as the story goes on. God starts out possessing Kaito, Stacey’s involvement with the Zenkaigers isn’t exposed, and in lots of other ways, altered circumstances both throw Stacey and Kaito together and keep them apart.
