"Let me take care of you tonight?" she asked in a soft voice.
He nodded and smiled at her. "If you go on your knees, I might hug you better, you giant," he laughed at that but complied. Once on his knee, she didn't waste time and hugged him again, one hand touching his hair and slowly touching his scalp. He sighed, almost purring like a cat - as it happened every time she did that. She tilted his chin, a gesture similar to the one he often did to her, and kissed him.
"My beautiful, gorgeous husband," she said, passing a hand in his tie to help him remove it. "You are so good at taking care of our family."
